From December 1‑29 (11 a.m.–8 p.m. except Christmas Day) you can write your hope on a piece of confetti at the wall located between 45th & 47th St. on Broadway, or submit it online at www.TSQ.org/Wish or via Planet Fitness’s portal at https://www.planetfitness.com/confett.... Each wish is printed onto a piece of the 3,000‑lb confetti mix that rains down over the area when the clock strikes twelve, joining thousands of other aspirations in a stunning, sky‑filled shower. 00:01We're here at the Times Square New Year's Eve Confetti Wishing Wall.

00:05It's an opportunity for people here in Times Square to have the incredible honor of writing their wish for the new year

00:11on a piece of official Times Square New Year's Eve confetti that will then be displayed at the wall throughout the month of December

00:17but then added to the 3,000 pounds of confetti that are tossed from the rooftops of Times Square at midnight on New Year's Eve.

00:23It's incredible to see the wishes as they come in, both at the wall and online.

00:28Wishes that have something very specific and personal to you and your family,

00:33things that are very global, things for the entire world or for our entire country.

00:37Health, happiness, unity, all sorts of things come in every single year.

00:41Hello everybody, welcome to the Planet Fitness Wishing Wall.

00:45We're going to write our wishes down on confetti, grab that Sharpie.

00:49So the confetti wishing wall physically in Times Square is usually between 45th Street and 47th Street,

00:54right here in the heart of Times Square.

00:56That's your opportunity to actually write that wish on that piece of official Times Square New Year's Eve confetti.

01:10For those who haven't had the opportunity to be in Times Square at midnight on New Year's Eve,

01:14it is an absolutely magical experience.

01:17All 3,000 pounds of confetti are floating all around you, surrounding you as they float down to the ground,

01:23as people are cheering and celebrating.

01:25And it is quite magical when you look down or in some cases look up and see it fluttering,

01:30a wish from someone who submitted it.

01:32And I like to grab that wish and say it out loud in the hope that it comes true for that person.

01:36So the confetti wishing wall is here in Times Square every single day with the exception of Christmas,

01:41but from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m.

01:43Look up for a gigantic, very bright pink and yellow banner.

01:47It has a huge logo from our partners at Planet Fitness.

01:50That will be your indicator from far away that that's where the wishing wall is.
