00:00The World Health Organization issued a warning about the spread of a H3N2 flu virus subtype called K.
00:07The director of the Global Influenza Program Wen-Kin San reported that the K virus was first discovered in August in Australia and New Zealand.
00:15The subtype has already been detected in at least 30 countries worldwide, except in Latin America.
00:20In this scenario San also warned about the circulation of other respiratory viruses,
00:24such as respiratory syncytial virus, coronaviruses, and rhinoviruses.
00:30According to the show, the incidence of influenza is still within expected levels,
00:34but since October some countries have been an early start to the flu season.
