Cole Sprouse Reveals He’s Been Sober For About A Year & Credits Gf With Helping ‘Improve’ His Life

The 'Riverdale' star gave credit to his girlfriend of two years, Ari Fournier, for 'improving' his life, saying 'it’s in no small part thanks to her.'

00:07The Child star joined Alex Cooper on the Call Her Daddy podcast

00:10and told the host that he's been sober for about a year now,

00:14crediting his girlfriend for improving his life.

00:16Cole said,

00:16Being sober allowed me to do the self-work and the professional work

00:20that has allowed me to really ask myself questions as an adult for the first time in my life.

00:26He gave major props to Ari, who he began dating in 2021,

00:30saying,

00:30As a consequence of our relationship, my life has just improved.

00:34I've gotten sober.

00:34I've questioned my existence like I never had before.

00:37I've had my best financial years.

00:39My career is doing better.

00:41When the private sphere is locked in, everything else comes from that foundation

00:45and it's in no small part thanks to her.

00:48Recall Cole used to date his Riverdale co-star, Lily Reinhart,

00:52adding that working together after their split was difficult.

00:55He told Alex,

00:56it didn't afford us the luxury of distance to really overcome that.

01:00I think we both did quite a bit of damage to each other.

01:03However, he added that the two are now good friends, which we love to hear.
