00:00The way people view people that come from private community.
00:04I mean, this guy loves the community.
00:06He loves the kids.
00:07He loves the culture.
00:08And this is definitely a terrible loss for us.
00:12But his legacy is going to go on for so long.
00:15It's going to make kids want to change.
00:16It's going to make kids want to do the right thing.
00:18And the love is spread everywhere.
00:20I mean, all over the world.
00:22So we mourn him right now.
00:25But we also celebrate because his life is going to change the world.
00:32And you saw the love around the stadium.
00:33Oh, yeah.
00:34I mean, the love is incredible.
00:36I mean, the love is incredible for somebody that comes to him.
00:40Because, you know, you used to look at all the things that you might think of negative.
00:45He grew up in a gang community.
00:47But, you know, when you live in those kind of communities, this is all you have.
00:51You have to adapt and grow and be able to get past it.
00:56And that's what he was able to do.
00:57But it's a tragedy that we lost him.
01:00Like I said, Nipsey Hussle is in peace.
01:04And his life is going to shine on us.
01:06And it's going to help us get through a lot of things.
01:09I mean, we lost one to save millions.
01:11You're a huge fan of you.
01:13People keep in you.
01:14We talked a lot about you and his songs.
01:16Yes.
01:16What is this moment like for you?
01:18Well, you know what, this moment for me is to tell people how great I was.
01:26Because he told people how great I was and everything that I've been through.
01:31And he knows that when you grow up in a gang, you grow up in poverty, it's a struggle.
01:34It's a pain.
01:35And I had to change, you know.
01:37I had to change that mindset and be able to grow and be better.
01:41And so to see this love here and see the love that he had for me and me be able to tell the world that this is a man that changed his life, that didn't mind growing up, giving back, and his legacy is going to live on.
01:55And, I mean, he's in the Staples Center celebrating him the same way we did Michael Jackson.
02:01So this is an amazing day for hip-hop.
02:04This is an amazing day for people that come from poverty, for entrepreneurs that really have big dreams and goals.
02:10Nifty Hustle is the blueprint.
02:12Is there a memory you could share with us about him that you have here?
02:15Well, you know, just two days ago, I mean, just two days before he passed, you know, we was working on, I got to hook up to the movie soundtrack.
02:24And, like, he was like, what we need to do?
02:27Like, let's go do it.
02:29When it made it happen.
02:31And he just was a guy that, me and him, we smiled, we had fun, we joked.
02:38This is a guy that you think they live in a private environment, but this guy was always smiling.
02:46Like, he told jokes, had fun, and he just loved the people.
02:51He loved giving back.
02:52And, you know, that's what I'm about.
02:53So that's what made us so close, you know, knowing that we was helping the kids in the community for us, the basketball teams and stuff like that.
03:02I mean, this guy was there.
03:03He was on there.
03:04And so I haven't met a guy like that.
03:06He's a rare breed, to be honest with you.
03:08If I said I need to help the community or do something for the kids, he was right there.
03:13And I haven't found anybody, like, that stands up about what they believe in the community, in your culture.
03:20Because most people run away from where they come from because it's hard.
03:24It's hard to survive.
