Transcript
00:00Chris Brown goes to war with churches.
00:05A Nipsey Hussle mural gets defaced in a new viral clip.
00:09Plus, Offset shows off his karate skills at Target.
00:15Hey guys, it's Ally for Hollywood Life with your Hip Hop Roundup.
00:18And if you're watching this on your phone with a crackless screen, count your blessings.
00:23TMZ reports 18-year-old Junior Gibbons ended up with a cracked iPhone
00:28after it was smacked out of his hands by none other than Offset.
00:33This all went down in a Target in Georgia and Junior's family just want Offset to replace the phone.
00:39But let's talk about Russ.
00:40The rapper was kicked out of chaos in Vegas for reportedly slamming the venue for a bad sound system.
00:46Fans voiced their opinion on the matter on Twitter and Russ reacted saying,
00:50Russ goes on to say after kicking him off stage, they evicted him from the hotel.
01:00In another tweet, he promised fans to be back in Vegas for his own show, not a club performance.
01:05But alright, as you know, we live in a time where clout chasing seems to be at an all-time high.
01:09Over the weekend, a video of a Connecticut teen defacing a Nipsey Hussle mural surfaced online and social media is pissed, and rightly so.
01:19Other sites report that her motive was unclear, but she's taking selfies and telling people to add her on Facebook,
01:24so I think it's obvious she just wants attention.
01:27And she's definitely getting what attention she wanted, but in the form of death threats.
01:31However, they don't seem to faze her.
01:33The teen reacted to the threat saying,
01:34I ain't about to argue with none of y'all over some painting.
01:37You know how much dope shit in Heaven Park gets painted over.
01:40Oh, alright then, hop off, y'all about to kill me over a painting.
01:44That shit hilarious.
01:45But okay, let's talk about this Chris Brown vs. Church's drama.
01:48The indie pop band recently collaborated with DJ Marshmello
01:52and weren't thrilled that he worked with Chris Brown and Tyga right after.
01:56The band voiced their disapproval in an Instagram post saying,
01:59we like and respect Mello as a person, but working with people who are predators and abusers
02:04enables excuses and ultimately tactically endorses that behavior.
02:09This is not something we can or will stand behind.
02:12The band's lead singer also went on a rant about the situation during their set at Fortress Festival in Texas.
02:18We weren't picking on Chris Brown for the sake of picking on Chris Brown.
02:22It was a morally dubious decision that happened,
02:27but also, Church's is a band, Church's is a business.
02:30Church's is a brand or whatever the people can buy into,
02:34and it has to be honest and it has to be authentic.
02:36And we would be really hypocritical if we worked with somebody
02:41and didn't say anything about what they did immediately after that fact,
02:45when we give money from our headline shows to Girls Rock Camps,
02:48when I'm a patron of Great Price in Scotland.
02:51You can't do that. It's morally incorrect.
02:54Tyga responded to Church's initial message by saying everyone makes mistakes
02:58and urging them to keep the energy positive.
03:01Chris Brown, on the other hand, wasn't so nice.
03:03CB posted a lengthy caption on Instagram calling the band a bunch of losers
03:08that he wishes walked in front of a speeding bus of mental patients.
03:12Somebody take his phone because he's not making himself look any better responding to them in this way.
03:17But alright, hit the sub, like and bell button, comment what you think of the Chris vs Church's feud,
