00:12on a $4 million bond.

00:14We have our robbery homicide division handling the investigation. They worked throughout

00:18the night on this case and were able to take into custody Nick Reiner, a suspect in this

00:28case. He was subsequently booked for murder.

00:31His parents, prolific Hollywood director Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle, were found dead

00:36at their LA home on Sunday afternoon. Celebrity news website TMZ, which first broke the story,

00:43reported that their throats had been cut by a family member during an argument.

00:48The younger of the Reiner's two sons, Nick, seen here on the right, has struggled with

00:52drug addiction and bouts of homelessness. He collaborated with his father as a co-writer

00:57on a semi-autobiographical 2016 film, Being Charlie. Tributes have poured in for the

01:03Reiner's, who were prominent activists for progressive causes. Donald Trump, on the other

01:08hand, reacted with a striking political attack on the victims, claiming without evidence that

01:13Rob Reiner's death was due to his opposition to his policies.

01:16A tortured and struggling but once very talented movie director and comedy star has passed away,

01:22together with his wife Michelle. Reportedly due to the anger, he caused others through his

01:26massive, unyielding and incurable affliction with a mind-crippling disease known as Trump

01:31derangement syndrome.

01:34Michelle Reiner was at one time a photographer, captured the image of Donald Trump that appears

01:39on the cover of his book, The Art of the Deal.
