Shadow Transport Secretary Richard Holden says that the Ukrainian government must be around the table and allowed to "make the final decision" on peace negotiations. 00:00We have to ensure that whatever is agreed to by international partners, that actually Ukraine is the one who makes the final decision here.
00:10It's very important that the Ukrainian people's view is there around that table.
00:16Britain has been, under governments of all colours, a real partner of Ukraine and President Zelensky.
00:21I hope that we maintain that position and we keep speaking out on behalf of the people of Ukraine,
00:27because we cannot have a situation in which military aggression is allowed to take place and is allowed to win.
00:36And we cannot allow a situation like the Munich Agreement in 1938, which we thought we were getting peace,
00:43but all we were doing was delaying war just temporarily and allowing even more forces to be built up by aggressors.
