00:00I'm impressed with Jordan Love's command of the final scrimmage game of the right play.
00:02That was poor execution on that play.
00:05Second and goal from the 15.
00:10And another timeout call by Green Bay.
00:13Second timeout on this series.
00:14Green Bay, their second.
00:16It's a 30-second timeout.
00:19Taking too much time to get the play calls in on the road.
00:22That's tough.
00:25Okay, we've got the Verizon Halftime Report coming up.
00:28Recap of some really important games that took place in that 1 o'clock window,
00:33including Buffalo coming back from 21-0 down on the road at New England
00:38to hand the Patriots only their third loss of the year.
00:42So updates on Detroit, the Rams, Tennessee, and San Francisco, Carolina, New Orleans.
00:48Meanwhile, Indy with Phillip Rivers is winning 6-3 in the second quarter up at Seattle.
00:54All that coming up on the Verizon Halftime Report.
00:58Second and goal.
01:10Here's Love.
01:11Now flushed out of the pocket with a flag down.
01:15Spinning around, throwing, and a diving attempt at the pick
01:18by Sertan, who is reaching out for it.
01:26Holding.
01:28Offense.
01:29Number 63.
01:30That penalty has been declined.
01:33Third down.
01:33We talk about Parsons on the other side.
01:38Well, Benito's been a monster this year as well.
01:40Watch this.
01:41He's going to end up getting the double team.
01:42He goes, nope, don't care.
01:44I'm going to push him all the way down.
01:46Walker into the ground.
01:47And then the coverage on the back end, which is why this Denver defense is so hard to deal with.
01:53Almost getting a pick, Sertan.
01:56Yeah, Sertan was glued to Dobbs with every single move.
02:01Now you've got third and goal from 15 out.
02:05And you know they're coming after you.
02:06This could be a screen right here.
02:08I might run something fast.
02:10Love.
02:10Looking downfield.
02:12Loft into the end zone.
02:13And it's Jacobs with the catch.
02:17Oh, my goodness.
02:18What a grab by the running back with Greenlaw and coverage.
02:23And the Packers have found the end zone for the first time today.
02:28What a catch and great design play.
02:31But this is not a wide receiver.
02:33This is a running back.
02:34One, two.
02:36That is a touchdown.
02:39Jacobs showing off.
02:41Yeah.
02:41Some Randy Moss hands right here.
02:43Wow.
02:44I don't know if you remember, but he couldn't get a touchdown reception.
02:49Yeah.
02:49Exactly.
02:51For years.
02:52That streak ended not too long ago.
02:55But, man, that looked like a play that you would expect to see from Reed or Watson.
03:02By the way, Zach Tom was hurt on that play.
03:04The right tackle.
03:05Oh, and he's been outstanding this year.
03:08Well, they address that.
03:09We'll step aside for just a moment.
03:11Tom goes into the medical tent.
03:17Jacobs, his 265th game all time.
03:21It's his second touchdown reception.
03:24I mean, that's why they put him one-on-one.
03:26Because they didn't think that would ever happen.
03:28Extra point coming.
03:29Interesting little strategy in there.
03:31As the extra point by McManus is good.
03:33As the Broncos decline the penalty yardage on second down holding call.
03:40Could have forced Green Bay second and goal from the 25.
03:44Instead, they turned it down off of the incompletion.
03:47They gave him the third and goal from the 15.
03:49I would have done the same thing.
03:51I'm the best third down team in the league.
03:53And you can't throw it deep on me because we're in the red zone.
03:57To me, you give them a chance on second down where they can create a big play.
04:01Third down is like, you're going to check it down.
04:03We're going to all be back in the end zone.
04:05The one thing that they did, though, Green Bay, we know we're going to be one-on-one with
04:08a guy who's only got one receiving touchdown ever.
04:10So let's get him on the linebacker and run him on a go route, basically, which is really
04:14just flare out and move up the field.
04:17Big time catch, though.
04:18A guy who barely practiced this week and had an MRI on that knee beginning of the week.
04:23I just talked about it.
04:23See how wide he is right there?
04:25Now watch.
04:25We're going to clear out up top and get him one-on-one.
04:28And it's almost like a go route to a receiver.
04:30But we get him on a linebacker, and you study all week as Denver, and you're like,
04:37hey, they're not going to throw him down the field.
04:39He's only got one receiving touchdown in his career.
04:42And then he makes an incredible catch.
04:45That's his 13th touchdown of the season.
04:47The other 12 had all been rushing touchdowns in the red zone.
04:54I mean, it's risky as an offensive play caller, but you're like, I know what I'm going to
04:58get, and it's third and 15.
04:59It's so hard to get.
05:00They did it.
05:02Bidet on the return.
05:06And that's stopped out at the 28th.
05:09The most wonderful holiday stories start at Macy's, where you'll find the perfect somethings

05:30And for Vance, the defensive corner is like, you got to give it to him.
05:39Didn't expect that.
05:40They brought it up.
05:41And look at that.
05:42Give it up.
05:43Possession chart for the Broncos.
05:45Joseph's bunch has seen Green Bay three drives, three scores.
05:49Hand off to Harvey.
05:53And he gets hit by a Packer and Palczewski, his left guard.
05:58And it picks up about eight.
06:02It's a great job by Miners, the right guard.
06:04Take a look right here.
06:05He's going to go ahead, double team, then get up on the second level, creating the hole.
06:11He's been outstanding.
06:13Second and two inside four minutes.
06:15First half.
06:16Nicks.
06:17Wide open is Sutton.
06:19Sutton holds on to it with two hands down to the 22-yard line.
06:24Sutton, that is a pass play for 42 yards.
06:29This is a double move on Nixon.
06:31Out and up.
06:34And Nixon buys it.
06:35What a route by Sutton.
06:37Perfect throw.
06:38Great play call by Sean Payton coming right out, attacking.
06:42They've needed some bigger plays recently, and they get one.
06:47Explosives.
06:47How many times did we hear Bo Nix talk with us about that?
06:51He comes right back to Sutton again.
06:53This time it's for about four.
06:55And with that completion, Bo Nix has now completed nine of his first ten passes for 107 yards and a touchdown.
07:01Both quarterbacks playing well.
07:03I think the biggest thing for Bo Nix is getting that ball down the field, and it's hard for this offense.
07:08They're not extremely explosive, you could argue, but they have the ability to do it sometimes.
07:13But it's really just a play call here and there that does it.
07:15Second and five.
07:16Oh, boy.
07:18Valentine almost got to it.
07:19But instead, it's Franklin taking it down to about the six.
07:23Valentine had designs on a pick six.
07:29But his heart was broken as it was a completion instead.
07:32He's guarding the outside receiver, and he literally comes flying in.
07:35And I don't even know if he was down, actually, at the end.
07:40Yeah, this crowd is looking at it and reacting.
07:43Well, maybe that right knee was down at the end.
07:50Gene Steratore, this is close.
07:53It is, Jim, but I didn't see any body part really put him down by contact.
07:57He put that right hand to keep himself.
07:59But they cannot change this now.
08:01He's too far away from the goal line.
08:03Their second, the 30-second timeout.
08:07This timeout call by the Broncos.
08:09Nothing they can do about it at all, Gene.
08:11No, not in this situation.
08:13If he were one step from the end zone, inbound, out of bounds, and you ruled him out,
08:17you would give him that other step.
08:18But here he's at the seven-yard line,
08:20just too far of a distance for them to be able to give him the remainder.
08:24There's a chance Sean might be yelling at the refs.
08:36So they're obviously going to blow it, like Gene said.
08:39So he's down.
08:39She can't redo that.
08:40You can't challenge it.
08:42It's done.
08:42But now the big issue is you just wasted a timeout.
08:46Got to get up on the ball, right?
08:48That's two times right now.
08:50Both teams have gone through it.
08:54First and goal.
08:552-11 to go in the second quarter.
08:59Harvey, the rookie, has been a touchdown maker this year.
09:02Nine of them.
09:03He gets the handle.
09:05Gets to the five and is pushed back by Edron Cooper.
09:12Okay, we're at the two-minute warning.
09:14A good one brewing out here.
09:1813-7.
09:20Green Bay.

09:40So, coming out of the two-minute warning.
09:44Payton and his Broncos trying to regain the lead.
09:48They've been a dangerous team in the last two minutes.
09:51And Sutton has caught four touchdowns in the last two minutes of the first half.
09:55Here he is on second and goal.
09:56Knicks throwing goal line.
09:58And it's a touchdown.
10:00Look, Jordan.
10:01Little Jordan Humphrey.
10:02He's not so little now.
10:11He's coming up big.
10:12Big Jordan Humphrey.
10:15Well, he actually throws the ball underneath.
10:17When he had the corner up.
10:19But the best part of this is this play design.
10:22Free releasing the back right away.
10:24Sean Payton.
10:25And this is the second time we shot to Sutton earlier.
10:28Design play calls like this.
10:30Second touchdown pass of this first half by Knicks and Lil Jordan.
10:35Were they glad to get him back?
10:37He's a big difference.
10:38And he's 6'4", by the way.
10:40If you're wondering how Lil he is.
10:426'4", 225.
10:47Knicks now with six touchdown passes in the last two minutes of the first half.
10:51That's best in the league.
10:52Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's the shit!
10:54The Verizon halftime report coming up shortly with, again, the scores and highlights.
11:02JB running quarterback, running the option.
11:06With some great options there with Nate, Matt, Coach Gower.
11:10That's coming up shortly.
11:11And Lutz sends it about a yard deep.
11:21Not a clean count.
11:22Oh, boy, this is not good.
11:23This is Wilson.
11:25Wilson is tackled down at the 14-yard line.
11:29And we've got an update.
11:31Check this one out, folks.
11:32Adam Schein has the story.
11:34He's watching the NFL now.
11:36He's trying to pull off a shocking upset at Seattle.
11:39Grandpas are wise.
11:41They don't forget how to read the football field.
11:43I can promise you that.
11:44He knows how to do that if you give him time.
11:46This can actually work out.
11:48Got off to a little bit of a rough start.
11:50But here comes Phillip.
11:51He's 10 out of 16, by the way, folks, completing his last seven.
11:55Here's Love down the middle.
11:57Watson to the 33-yard line.
12:00Jones stripped him up.
12:01And there's the explosive Watson you saw last week.
12:06I mean, he can fly.
12:08And right now, you see this two-minute offense.
12:10That was a big play to start.
12:12Yeah, Watson had the two touchdown catches against Chicago.
12:15Got the game ball afterwards.
12:16Here's another wide-open Packer.
12:18And to the 50-yard line goes Musgrave, who's had a fine first half.
12:22This is all Jordan Love with his eyes, holding the inside backers.
12:26He actually moved Greenlaw.
12:28We've got a run for the passer.
12:30First down.
12:31On top of it.
12:32Wow, this is going to get them in great field position very quickly.
12:36That took all of two plays.
12:38Look at his eyes.
12:39Hold it right there, then throw it to the right.
12:41Oh, it hit him low.
12:42Zach Allen.
12:43And then hitting low is going to be the penalty.
12:45Zach Allen has hit the quarterback.
12:47He's been outstanding this year.
12:49He's got the most quarterback hits in the league.
12:51And again, this orange rush defense without a sack in this first half.
12:58Yeah, that's shocking.
12:59That's rare.
13:00And...
13:00But this pass protection has been outstanding recently for Green Bay.
13:06Even without Tom out there right now, still holding up.
13:09Darion Kennard has come in for Tom at right tackle.
13:13Here's the first and ten.
13:15Tied in screen.
13:17Musgrave.
13:17To about the 33-yard line.
13:20Could have been a big play.
13:21Wilson missed the block.
13:23Out there on the edge.
13:24A lot of time right now.
13:29You're already in field goal range.
13:36Moving inside one minute.
13:38To the ground.
13:39Wilson just pushed back.
13:41Knocked backwards.
13:42Maybe got a yard out of it.
13:45Did not love that call and did not love the run.
13:48When you run the ball right into your own guy.
13:52It's not going to get many yards.
13:54You got to let the clock run a little bit here.
13:59This is correct.
14:00That way, if you punt, they got no chance.
14:01I would still snap it in the next five or six seconds, though.
14:04This is where Benito is so dangerous.
14:08The rusher right there for Denver.
14:11Third and six.
14:15Love gets it away.
14:17Dobbs has the first down.
14:19That should be a timeout.
14:21Another fadeaway shot.
14:23Fadeaway throw.
14:24There by love.
14:26Great slam.
14:26Timeout it is by Green Bay.
14:28We go to Trace.
14:29Well, Jim, you mentioned Darian Cunard in there for Zach Tom.
14:32Tom dealing with a right knee injury.
14:36Questionable to return.
14:37They finally got that inside of that offensive line shored up.
14:41And now dealing with this.
14:42As for the Broncos inside linebacker Justin Sternod, he is still questionable with that ankle injury.
14:48And Marvin Mims missed that last drive.
14:51He was cleared of a concussion, but he is dealing with a stinger.
14:54We'll get an update after half.
14:55Yeah, they kept Mims off the return team.
14:58Also after that injury.
15:05He's going to want to see action in the second half.
15:07Meantime, can the Bronco defense clamp down with 17 seconds?
15:11Three guys in the end zone way back there, trying to keep the ball in front of them.
15:16Green Bay without timeouts.
15:18Love.
15:19Got to be careful here.
15:20Got to get out of bounds.
15:22And that's Brooks getting there.
15:24We'll stop the clock with 10 seconds.
15:26So many permutations.
15:28So many, like, possibilities with every second, the down and distance, timeouts.
15:33Right now when you have no timeouts, you cannot throw this ball inbounds.
15:36It needs to go to the end zone or out of bounds.
15:40This is where you play sideline defense, Jim, where you don't let them throw a 5 or 10 yard out route.
15:46Just for 2, 3 seconds and get the clock and move 5 to 10 yards.
15:50Don't allow that.
15:50Put guys over here, over here, and then protect the end zone.
15:55Love with 10 seconds.
15:57He's completed over 80% of his throws today.
16:04Looks in zone.
16:05Lofts it deep.
16:06No one there.
16:08And that'll bring McManus back to the field to try to make a third field goal of this first half.
16:13And you run all goes.
16:15Everyone runs up the field.
16:16And you basically tell the quarterback if they screw up, you get a one-on-one chance.
16:19Give him a chance in the end zone.
16:21If not, throw it over set.
16:22Well done.
16:27Well, he made 114 field goals in this stadium in his career.
16:36Well, he's now up to 116.
16:38With two of them as a member of the Packers.
16:41This from 35.
16:43Make it 117.
16:45Through the uprights again.
16:51And Green Bay takes the lead back at 16-14.
16:53We've had four lead changes in this quarter.
16:57Great game.
16:58Two teams that we talked about before the game, Jim.
17:01Possible Super Bowl preview.
17:03They both have a chance.
17:04The AFC playoff picture.
17:07Denver came into the week because of a tiebreaker with the top position.
17:12And then the team it was tangling with.
17:13New England lost today to Buffalo with that 21-0 lead dissipating.
17:19With Josh Allen and the Bills storming back.
17:23And Jacksonville impressive in its win today.
17:25Then you look over on the NFC side.
17:28Philadelphia in a walk today over the Raiders.
17:30Carolina's in action right now.
17:32They're Seattle at 10-3.
17:34And losing at home where they've been so tough with that vicious defense of theirs.
17:38Well, they're running into a monster.
17:40He just came out as a grandfather.
17:43And Phillip Rivers, that's crazy.
17:46Okay.
17:47Two seconds to go in the half.
17:49Don't forget the Green Bay deferred.
17:51So they'll be receiving the third quarter kickoff.
17:57This one goes deep.
17:59Broncos say, let's run it back.
18:02And Bidet doesn't get very far to close out the second quarter.
18:08You're right.
18:09Really strong first half of action.
18:12You see the talent on both sides.
18:13This is a real heavyweight fight.
18:15You can see it.
18:16Both teams playing well.
18:17Going to come down to what quarterback makes the plays as this game moves on.
18:20Tracy, down to you.
18:22You've been able to move the ball.
18:23I know you'd like touchdowns instead of field goals.
18:25But defensively giving up two straight touchdowns.
18:28What do you need to do?
18:29Well, we can't have penalties first and foremost.
18:31We had them first in 25.
18:32Then we get called for a roughing or whatever it was.
18:36And so those kill you.
18:38We saw the chippiness start before the game.
18:40And it carried over into this game.
18:42What do you have to do in terms of addressing that and make sure it doesn't hurt you?
18:46That is something we addressed pregame.
18:47So we cannot lose our composure.
18:49And that's going to be hit again.
18:51Appreciate it.
18:51Thanks.
18:53All right.
18:53His team goes to the locker room with the lead.
18:5616-14 Packers.
18:59Halftime is next after these first half highlights.
19:01From Verizon, it'll work from your local station.
19:03The Green Bay Packers and the Denver Broncos are about to collide.
19:10With Bandy in the end zone for the touchdown.
19:13It's Jacob with the catch.
19:16Oh, my goodness.
19:17Nick's throwing goal line.
19:19And it's a touchdown.
19:20Great first half of action.
19:26Some super play by the quarterbacks, too.
19:29I mean, the numbers for both of them are impressive, including Love having the most passing yards in the first half in any game of his career.
19:39And then you've got Knicks, who only had one incompletion in that first half and two touchdowns.
19:46And what's fascinating about it, the touchdown catches by guys that would have his fifth and sixth on your depth chart at wide receiver.
19:53Bandy and Humphrey.
19:55So now here we go with a kick coming to Wilson.
19:58And tripped up really well played there by Key, who makes so many plays on special team coverage.
20:06Tracy had a chance to catch up with Sean Payton out of the locker room.
20:09Green Bay put up 251 yards on your defense.
20:13How do you have to adjust, especially with the explosive plays?
20:16Well, here's the good news.
20:17The good news is it's 14-16.
20:19We played great red zone defense.
20:21We forced them to kick field goals.
20:22It's a real good offense.
20:25I kind of like where we're at at the half right now.
20:27And I say that when they played some real high-end defenses, the scores have been a little lower.
20:34And I think, obviously, we've got to clean some stuff up.
20:38Their first down efficiency is what hurt us.
20:40And we'll get better at that.
20:42Appreciate it. Thank you.
20:45Meantime, during all of that, you saw him try to go with a deep ball to Watson,
20:50who had the two touchdown catches.
20:52And they both were, well, they weren't that long,
20:55but they were exceptional explosive plays last week in a win against Chicago.
20:59They thought they might get one to start the third quarter.
21:01Exactly.
21:02Tracy talked to Sean right there, and he just mentioned it.
21:04We got a win first down on some of these plays, and they did right there.
21:09Now it puts them into an obvious passing down, most likely.
21:12You can let this defensive line wreak havoc, although they haven't had a sack yet today.
21:17Here's Love from the gun, able to drop it over to a tight end again.
21:24It's Fitzpatrick, Musgrave Fitzpatrick having good production out of the tight end room today.
21:32Yeah, and they came after him right there, and that's a great job by Jordan Love to get back on the ball.
21:36And here they go.
21:37They're going to try and get up on it, not allow them to substitute.
21:39It's really not to try and get this great play really quick.
21:44It's about keeping the same personnel in the game,
21:47not letting Denver get to this crazy cool package.
21:50Smart by Green Bay.
21:55Third and four, rushing four.
21:57Love again.
21:59Down the field.
22:00Well done.
22:01Batted down by Moss.
22:03Uh-oh.
22:04There is the flag, and he's looking around.
22:07He gets so many flags on him.
22:09Pass interference.
22:12Defense number 21.
22:14First place at the spot of the foul.
22:16Automatic pushdown.
22:18He was defending Matthew Golden.
22:24Well, you see, it's just a simple go route.
22:27He turns around.
22:30Oh, man.
22:31I mean, that is not much.
22:32Well, he's holding his arm right there.
22:33Yeah, but every DB does that.
22:35That doesn't affect the play.
22:37I mean, he gives flags so much, like you said.
22:42You know, and the officials.
22:42Everyone throws at him.
22:43And the officials know that.
22:45They see the reports.
22:47They know, watch out for this guy.
22:49That one, 25-yard penalty.
22:51I've seen a lot less, yes, though.
22:55I don't think that was passing through this.
22:59Meanwhile, Jacobs.
23:00No one near him.
23:01Take it off.
23:03Jacobs to the end zone for his longest touchdown run of the season.
23:07Wow.
23:22Back-to-back plays.
23:23I want you to watch right here.
23:24Singleton.
23:25There's a huge gap in this area.
23:27You've got to move over here.
23:29You cannot go that way.
23:31Because now, all of a sudden, you leave this entire area.
23:34And Jacobs will finish.
23:36What a drive to open the second half at Denver.
23:39This crowd is actually annoying still on that call.
23:42You might remember, we mentioned in the first half, all of his rush touchdowns had come from within the red zone.
23:47That one was for 40 yards.
23:50It also was a very important block down the field by Bo Melton.
23:55You're right.
23:55Well, Jacobs, you talk about explosive plays.
24:10They had that touchdown catch.
24:12Only the second touchdown reception of his career in the first half.
24:16One-on-one coverage.
24:17And that run for 40 yards was his longest run.
24:21Happened to go for a touchdown since a game in 2023.
24:25And again, this was a guy who missed practice this week and was MRI'd on Monday because he says his knees is bothering him.
24:32He couldn't find any structural issues.
24:36Vantas' kick angled well.
24:39Loughlin gets it to about the 28th.
24:42I have to tell you, Tony, the way that Green Bay is playing against this Denver defense.
24:47Wow.
24:47I mean, it's unbelievable the way Jordan Love.
24:50I mean, you're coming into Denver against what arguably is the best defense in the NFL, the most sacks, the best third down defense, maybe the best red zone defense.
24:59And it's like, nope, I'm Jordan Love.
25:01I'm playing on fire.
25:03And this team right now is controlling this football game.
25:05But then Jacobs, what he's done the last couple possessions, it's been the difference.
25:09I mean, wow.
25:10This is rare.
25:12We've been here.
25:15Packers, five drives for the game, Tony, to make your point.
25:18And they've scored on all five of them.
25:21Meanwhile, on the bootleg, here's Nix.
25:23Nix.
25:25And just again, his second incompletion.
25:28I want you to watch this on that touchdown.
25:32I mean, the communication.
25:34We want little guys to block and big guys to run.
25:38Oh, you got him.
25:39I got him.
25:40Dobbs is literally telling him where to go.
25:42And the reason why it's not a 12-yard play and it's a touchdown is because of the wide receivers.
25:50Yeah, and Melton, who held a 45-yard touchdown catch last week.
25:54Again, he's on the roster on both sides, playing the secondary.
25:57Yes.
25:58Practice is there.
25:59Offense as well.
26:00Big-time play.
26:01Harvey.
26:02And that's Gary dragging him down, not letting him get the wheels turning.
26:06This feels like a big drive, doesn't it?
26:08Well, you got to try to answer because it was so quick for the other side.
26:13Well, you'll see it's a slow-developing play, but Gary reads it quickly and comes right down the line.
26:19And to me, Denver has come back in so many games.
26:23They're always great.
26:25But right now, it doesn't feel like you should wait until the fourth quarter.
26:28You probably need to do it in the third and probably on this drive.
26:33Third and nine.
26:35Barson standing up and now coming right over center.
26:37He's picked up.
26:41Knicks loops around.
26:43Throws incomplete right at the chains.
26:46It was Sutton.
26:52Parsons was chasing after him.
26:55And it might have been an important drive, but it was a short drive, that's for sure.
26:59Throwing out.
27:01Green Bay does an exceptional job.
27:03Pass coverage here.
27:04Everyone's covered.
27:05The ball needed to be checked down.
27:07Bo Nix knows if I check the ball down, we're going to punt and look at the effort by Micah Parsons.
27:13We saw that when we did their game earlier this season.
27:15Week one when he chased down Jared Goff.
27:17What a play just like that.
27:18That one he got to him.
27:22Croshaw.
27:22And they're caught by Dobbs at the 1951-yard boot.
27:34Right back out come the Packers.
27:36Their offense has scored every time they've had the football today.
27:39This Christmas, don't miss the biggest comedy event of the year, the Spongebob movie, Search for Squarepants.
27:51It's only in theaters Friday.
27:53Get your tickets now.
27:58Right now.
27:59We'll watch the play first, because they're going deep.
28:02They're going deep.
28:03And stepping in front is Sertan with the pick.
28:07And Watson was hurt.
28:09Sertan high-stepping.
28:10And slipping by one tackle attempt.
28:13Watson, you hate to see it.
28:20Battled injury.
28:22Of course, he's out with that ACL that happened in Week 18 last year.
28:26This is something else.
28:27Sertan comes up with the pick.
28:34Look at him diving in front.
28:36And watch the way Watson lands on that side and shoulder.
28:41There's a reason why he was Defensive Player of the Year last year.
28:46And nobody runs with Watson that deep down the field.
28:50Perfectly designed play.
28:52Should be a home run.
28:53But not when you go against Sertan.
28:55Wow.
28:55And the run back, as you know, it was stopped because he was touched when he came to the ground.
29:01And Love got walloped.
29:05After he released it.
29:08Wazirike delivered the blow.
29:11Here's the pick.
29:16And the Watson landing.
29:18He did get up and walk off the field.
29:21I mean, there's not a more important person.
29:26As you watch Harvey get that run on this offense to me, Jim.
29:30Jordan Love, obviously, the quarterback's the most important.
29:32But this offense looks completely different for Green Bay when Watson is healthy and when he's not.
29:37They really came out when he got back on the field.
29:40And that is a streak, by the way, for Jordan.
29:42He had not thrown an interception on the road in his previous 186 pass attempts.
29:47And there's Watson on the sideline, not in the blue tent.
29:51Good sign.
29:52Got to think.
29:55Second and seven.
29:57Knicks.
29:58Ball is able to reverse as Parsons was about to bear down on him.
30:02Throws on the goal.
30:03And it's Humphrey again making a play.
30:07He's made several today, including a touchdown.
30:09As well, I want you to watch.
30:17Back over here.
30:19And this, he does throw the ball on the run at a high level.
30:24But to me, this is the Bo Nix that brings this team back over and over again.
30:29We said early in the game, he's got to use his legs if they're going to win this game.
30:32That went for 22.
30:34He's looking for Franklin.
30:35He's in the legs again.
30:36And he's rolling out.
30:37And now throws at the crank.
30:40His old Oregon teammate.
30:41Oh, that was a little deception.
30:44Looked like he was going to go out of bounds.
30:45Looked like he was just going to throw it away.
30:47Franklin never gave up on the play either.
30:48And it picks up 18.
30:52It's a pretend screen.
30:53They're going to throw a go route.
30:54But look at, I'm just going out of bounds.
30:56I'm not doing anything.
30:57Oh, I'm going to get about 15 yards.
31:00Huge play.
31:01Using the legs again, though.
31:02He has to keep extending the play.
31:04And you saw, meanwhile, Watson heading to the Green Bay locker room.
31:08Didn't take long for the Broncos to get inside the 30 of Green Bay.
31:15Harvey near the 25.
31:18We asked Harvey when we met with him, Tony, how would you describe your style of running?
31:27And he said, you know, I'm getting it.
31:29I've always been having the handle to talk about I'm undersized.
31:33He's 5'9".
31:34But he says, I played with my heart and confidence in myself because of my size.
31:40It shows.
31:43By the way, Mims has been out.
31:46Good part of the second quarter.
31:48Returning to action.
31:50Here he goes in motion.
31:53First play back.
31:54Quite some time.
31:56And they go to him.
31:56There's Mims.
31:58Got a first down at the 18.
32:00They get to 16.
32:04It's a well-designed play.
32:07Motioning into a hitch route where you're running full speed.
32:11You pretend to go upfield.
32:12And then just a simple six-yard stop route.
32:16Moving the chains.
32:17Picked up nine.
32:19You set a downs.
32:22Harvey.
32:23He made a little cut.
32:25And when he did that, he arrived right at the doorstep of Micah Parsons.
32:31Evan Williams also in on the tackle.
32:33Harvey in this game, 12 rushes, 41 yards.
32:38Well, we felt like both teams needed to be balanced to win this game offensively.
32:44And because both defenses are really good.
32:46And right now, Denver has 17 rushes and 17 passes on the game.
32:51But Green Bay has 25 passes and 11 rushes.
32:54But that's actually served them well with how they've been playing.
32:57Second and eight.
33:02Knicks.
33:03In zone bound.
33:04Pulled in.
33:05Are the feet down?
33:06Yes.
33:07Touchdown, Broncos.
33:09Sutton calls it in.
33:16All started with the Sertan interception.
33:23And for Cortland Sutton, it's the first time he's caught a touchdown this year in anything other than the second quarter.
33:29It's just a perfect crowd.
33:32He wins at the line of scrimmage.
33:34And then it's a perfect finish to the play with a perfect throw.
33:38I mean, this is high-level football right now.
33:40What a release by Sutton.
33:41And what a finish.
33:43With a perfectly thrown ball by Bo Nix.
33:45Sixth touchdown grab overall.
33:47On the season, Lutz with the extra points.
33:54So, Bo Nix.
33:57Three touchdown passes on the day.
34:00The latest to Sutton.
34:02And we're going back and forth on the board here.
34:05Here's the kickoff with the Broncos pulling within two.
34:27And the race out by Wilson to 32.
34:33Tracy, down to you.
34:34An update on Christian Watson.
34:36We saw him go into the locker room.
34:38Actually went in directly for x-rays.
34:41It is a chest injury.
34:43I had a chance to speak with him this week.
34:45And he was just so happy to be back from that ACL injury.
34:48Playing at such a high level.
34:50Such an integral part of this offense.
34:53Here's hoping he can get back sooner rather than later.
34:56Yeah, it was an emotional scene in their locker room last week.
34:58The full circle story after being hurt in the last week of the regular season.
35:02Last year against the Bears to come back now.
35:05Had two touchdowns against him last week.
35:06Get the game ball in the locker room.
35:08A lot of emotion.
35:10First and ten.
35:11Jacobs.
35:12And Benito holds on to the ankle.
35:15By the way, the Packers, they did something in this game they had not done since 2016.
35:22Which was score on their first five drives.
35:26The sixth drive, however, the pick by Sertan.
35:30Huge momentum change.
35:31Slightly.
35:35By the way, it's the first time, too, that it's happened against the Broncos.
35:42That is, five consecutive scores to open a game by the Bengals' team in five years.
35:47Great point.
35:49They've handled this pressure.
35:51Benito just wrapped it up right there.
35:53And this crowd's wrapping it up now.
35:57Here we are.
35:57Next level.
36:00False start.
36:01Offense.
36:02Number 63.
36:04High-yard penalty.
36:05Second down.
36:06Walker's been flagged four different times in this game.
36:12And the reason he's got to look inside.
36:14You see how his head is looking at the ball?
36:16That's because he's on the road.
36:18When you're at home, you can listen to your quarterback say the cadence, but the crowd's too loud.
36:22He's got to look at the ball in the center.
36:25Four flags.
36:26Three of them accepted.
36:28With Benito so often lined up right over him, breathing down on him.
36:32Ready to rush his quarterback.
36:35Second and 18.
36:37Lifts his leg.
36:38He looks at the quarterback when he lifts his leg.
36:40And then they snap it.
36:42From the sideline.
36:44And it's Jacobs.
36:45It's a big play, though, to get him back on track.
36:49And how about Jacobs?
36:50It looks like a wide receiver.
36:51That's exactly right.
36:53I'm like, they are trying to expose the one area that Denver has.
36:59Is that they look at the data and say, you don't throw to him as a wide receiver.
37:04So we'll leave him one-on-one.
37:06They're taking advantage of it.
37:08Take him out.
37:08They bring in Brooks.
37:09Third down back.
37:11Third and long.
37:1230-12.
37:13Best third-time team in the NFL.
37:18On both sides, really.
37:23Well, step it up.
37:25Gets away from the sack.
37:27Take it off.
37:28Getting near the mark.
37:29Oh, he's got it.
37:30It still goes to the 10 per side of the 50.
37:33He does not scramble a ton.
37:40But when he does, he does it at a high level.
37:44Look at this.
37:45Right here.
37:47Shows off the athleticism.
37:50And that is big of a third down.
37:53But that was the blocking.
37:54Fitzpatrick threw a big one right there.
37:56Yep.
37:57That's 24 yards.
38:00And that's one yard shy of as long as scramble of the season.
38:04Yep.
38:04Money, money, money.
38:06Money.
38:07First and 10.
38:08Almost pulled in by Musgrave.
38:14When the ball was up in the air for a while.
38:16Lock on the coverage.
38:18Well, this is going to be interesting to see how this plays out, Jim.
38:23Because they're going to be able to play a lot tighter.
38:26Lock gets in there a little early.
38:27Almost comes up with the interception after he tips it.
38:33But without Watson on the field, you are not threatened.
38:36Great route runners, but the speed of him changes the game.
38:45Now on a second and 10.
38:48Again.
38:50They're able to bring Jacobs down quickly.
38:53Roach is the one who did it.
38:57Excellent effort by Roach.
39:01He's going to go ahead and read the pulling tackle and come right down the line.
39:06A slow developing play.
39:07And a lot of this is the situation.
39:10Second 10 feels like pass.
39:13And then you're not threatened by Watson's speed.
39:15Joseph needs his defense not to give up another third in the long conversion.
39:27Well, going down for the first time today.
39:39And there it is.
39:40The last two seasons, the Denver Broncos, in this amazing pass rush, has not gone three quarters without getting a sack at some point.
39:54And they hadn't had one today.
39:56And it could not be more timely than right now.
39:59It was Jonah Ellis, 52, who got to him first.
40:03And then Singleton on top of him as well.
40:07So now Whelan will see his first punt.
40:16Mims.
40:16Does a good job of faking out.
40:25That's only a net of 37 with it being a touchback.
40:29During the kick, holding number 58, kicking team.
40:34Ten-yard penalty.
40:35First down.
40:36Time out.
40:37Okay, Bo Nix.
40:41He had only one touchdown pass the previous three games.
40:44He's got three today.
40:46Including the latest to Sutton.
40:48Jacobs coming up big for the Packers also.
40:55Amazing shots with today's game.
40:57Provided by Nationwide.
40:58A matchup of the franchise that won Super Bowl I.
41:01Versus the franchise that won Super Bowl 50.
41:04With both of them having their sights on Super Bowl 60 in a couple of months.
41:09Here's the handoff to Harvey.
41:12And he doesn't last long with that ball in his hands.
41:15That time, Cooper brings him down.
41:17It's update time.
41:18Which means, back to you, Adam.
41:20Jim, Tony, Matthew Stafford.
41:2226 yards to Kobe Parkinson to take the lead.
41:2613 unanswered by L.A.
41:2927-24 Rams late third.
41:31Back to you.
41:32Boy, how about this?
41:33This afternoon set in the late window.
41:37And some fantastic action in the 1 o'clock window as well.
41:4323-21 here, Green Bay.
41:48Nix.
41:49Again, as Parsons coming after him.
41:52Almost intercepted.
41:53Jumping in front was McKinney.
41:56Who knows how to come up with a pick.
41:58We know that.
41:59First team all-pro last year with eight interceptions and 24.
42:03And look at Parsons.
42:04Low pad level.
42:05But his speed today has been off the charts.
42:07If you go look at it after the game.
42:08Earlier when we showed him, he reached 19.2 miles per hour when he was chasing down Nix, which is the fastest he's reached on any play this season.
42:18He's on it today.
42:193rd and 13.
42:33Thought about it.
42:34Dumps it off.
42:35Caught by Ingram.
42:36Got near it.
42:37Oh, rolled over one defender.
42:39Where are they going to mark this?
42:41Going to mark it short.
42:43Would you dare go for it from your own 39?
42:47That looked like he might have rolled over.
42:49I think.
42:49Again.
42:50Look at it.
42:50This ref is saying he's over the line.
42:52I got it up here.
42:54It's like the Franklin play that they missed.
42:57Right there.
42:58Just short.
42:59Right there.
43:01It's a great job by the refs.
43:03Number 73 is reporting as eligible.
43:07Number 73.
43:08That's Frank Crum coming in.
43:10Extra lineman.
43:10Remember earlier, they tried to get him off sides.
43:13And then they snapped it on the one down, two down, set up.
43:16Third one and the quarterback sneaked it.
43:18And we got a guy coming in late.
43:19I would snap it.
43:22They were.
43:24There'll be a timeout by Green Bay.
43:26Timeout.
43:27Green Bay.
43:28Their first.
43:30The 32nd timeout.
43:33So, a little communication issue.
43:35And that cost the Packers a timeout.
43:38They rue that timeout later on in this one.
43:42Yep.
43:43That's happened three or four times at least today for both coaching staffs on both teams.
43:48Again, we were just saying the update on the Rams game against the Lions.
43:52If the Rams were to lose that game and Green Bay win here, Green Bay would move into the one spot in the NFC playoff picture.
44:00Meanwhile, Denver, because New England's lost a day to Buffalo, is going to be the one win or lose at day's end.
44:07But what a nice little cushion it could give them with three weeks to go in that chase for the one.
44:12See, that's something that Sean Payton didn't shy away from.
44:15As you see, Parsons goes to the oxygen.
44:19He's not going to be in here on this fourth and one play.
44:22Bringing in a lot of big guys.
44:24Putting them down in the line.
44:27Sneak.
44:28Knicks.
44:28Got it.
44:32By just enough.
44:33And where do you run behind?
44:36Miners.
44:3777.
44:44We hear now from Tracy that the Packers have officially ruled out Watson.
44:49Wow.
44:49Christian Watson for the remainder of this one.
44:53Well, he's been a huge focal point against the man team.
44:55He's out.
44:56They're top two targets versus man.
44:58Watson and Kraft are both out.
45:00Will be tougher going forward.
45:03On first down.
45:04Fake off to head off to Harvey.
45:07Launching.
45:07Open.
45:09And stepping up front is McKinney.
45:12Miners was alone for a while, Tony.
45:14The other board.
45:17I think McKinney.
45:19McKinney almost baited him into that, right?
45:22He waited for it.
45:23He almost had the interception.
45:25Don't you think he should have caught that one?
45:26He's had two chances on this drive.
45:30Right here.
45:33Mims is wide open.
45:34It looks like it's going to be a touchdown.
