00:00And she very simply said, I've seen your work, Felicity, and I know you can do it, which gave me enormous confidence going into it.
00:08How much did you talk to her about her life and, you know, mind her for information?
00:12Well, it was hugely important and helpful to meet her.
00:17It was about understanding this woman who was in a time and working in a system that didn't even want her there.
00:24You know, they thought you should be in the kitchen. What are you doing here, turning up in the courts every day?
00:28And she defied that and she went on to completely change the system and to create a quality in the law that is irreversible, which is a phenomenal, phenomenal achievement.
00:40How proud are you to apply that role?
00:42I mean, beyond. I just had a beach me moment.
00:45I was standing with Henry Clinton, Gloria Steinem, and Justice Ginsburg, and I just thought it doesn't get better than this.
00:52Was there something that stood out to you about something that you learned about the lack of women's rights when researching this role and talking with Ruth?
01:00What was something that really, really struck a note with you?
01:04Well, I think it's about how the fight continues and that we have to really fight to protect those rights.
01:09And what Justice Ginsburg did was to make sure that the laws she changed couldn't be reversed.
01:15But even now, as we've seen with the Me Too movement, it's still as strong as ever.
01:20We have to continually protect those equal rights for the future.
01:25Thank you guys so much. I really appreciate it.
