00:00There's going to be a lot of digesting.
00:02As I said, I think some people are going to think the Patriots got a little conservative,
00:05but you heard it right there.
00:06Mike Grable said we didn't really have the ball, and that was the issue.
00:09If you want to really wonder what's going on with this defense, because I feel like
00:14this defense gets borderline worse by the week, and I don't love that trend.
00:18Now, I know you were going against the best rushing attack, so there's a reason maybe
00:22you were giving up rushing yards in chunks and James Cook is having a 1,300-yard season
00:26and all those things.
00:27Because that defense is becoming a little bit more concerning for me when you start
00:32to talk about the playoffs.
00:34Also, we do need to acknowledge you fell to 11-3, correct?
00:38The Bills are 10-4.
00:40You go to Baltimore, you play them, like you lose.
00:43This could get interesting down the stretch.
00:45You could go from the number one seed to playing on wildcard weekend as a road team.
00:49Like, there's a lot up in the air because you need to take care of your business now.
00:55You drop this one, there's no shame.
00:57No shame in this loss, in my opinion.
00:59Now you need to right the ship and make sure you don't have a losing streak.
01:02You haven't had a losing streak all year, right?
01:04You need to make sure you don't, because if you have a losing streak, now you're talking
01:08about trouble.
01:08Now you're talking about playing wildcard weekend, playing wildcard weekend on the road,
01:12all those things.
01:12And Andy, don't get me going on, and we're all kinds of excited here on the Six Rings
01:16post-game show.
01:17Obviously, a little bit disappointed, but far from elated, but encouraged by many aspects
01:22of the game.
01:226-1-7, 7-7-9, 7-9-3-7.
01:25Encouraged by aspects of the game.
01:27Encouraged by the effort the team put forth.
01:29Drake, obviously, with far from his best game of the season as well.
01:32But again, the second-year quarterback trying to win an MVP, but most importantly, trying
01:36to get his team in the postseason, needs to learn.
01:39And sometimes we learn, as Bruce Wayne's dad taught us, why do we fall down, Bruce?
01:43To learn how to pick ourselves up again.
01:45So maybe this is that kind of day for Drake May and the Patriots, especially on offense
01:49after they had that 24-7 lead.
