00:00The way Mike Vrabel treats Drake May gives you an insight.

00:04He doesn't give him game balls.

00:06He doesn't, you know, throw bouquets his way all that often.

00:09Why?

00:09Because I think he knows the kid can be great and he wants him to earn it.

00:13And he wants to kind of reserve the real high praise for when he deserves it.

00:18I think he's starting to feel that way about his football team.

00:21I think you're going to see him start to be a little bit more overly critical.

00:25Like he was talking about different things he'll coach from this game

00:28and that it's good that his players leave this game saying,

00:32yeah, but we could have done this.

00:33We should have done this.

00:34This could have been better.

00:35When they all are doing that and instead of looking to celebrate minor victories along the way,

00:40they're looking at a bigger picture down the road.

00:43I think that's a really good sign.

00:45And I think they're right.

00:46They should.

00:46That's what I'm going to do.

00:47I think this is a team that should now compete for a playoff spot.

00:50My one concern, one concern is the concern that Ted Johnson has had all along

00:55as he has sort of ebbed and flowed with his positivity.

00:58We had some scares today.

01:00Marcus Jones, Harold Landry.

01:03Like there were guys that were down that you're like, oh, yeah, they need him to get up.

01:08Carlton Davis once again.

01:09I think it's almost not a Patriots game in 2025 without Carlton Davis having an injury scare.

01:15And I thought Harold Landry was done for the year.

01:17When I saw the video of his leg, ankle, knee bending in a weird way sideways,

01:21I was like, oh, he's toast.

01:23Oh, I thought he was done, though.

01:24And I think they said he was in there for like six minutes.

01:26They want to put a brace on him.

01:28He's like, nope, I'm going to go back out there and play.

01:30And Zach Corr was like, cool, let's go do this.

01:32That's my one thing, though.

01:34You got to you even got to scare pregame when there was an illness for Milton Williams.

01:38I do think, like so many teams, and this doesn't make them unique, but I think they are thinner

01:44than the average NFL team, and they can't afford to have any key injuries.

01:49We expressed in the preseason that one of our key concerns about this team was depth,

01:54especially after going to some of the preseason, some of the training camp practices, the joint

02:00practices as well.

02:02Hey, I think they got some dudes out there.

02:04Oh, there's no dudes behind the dudes, so if dude number one gets hurt, dude number two

02:10who's supposed to take his spot, ain't that great.
