00:04Yeah. So I watched the screeners for the first five out of six episodes.
00:07The show is great. It feels like it's nostalgia, but also a revival on its own.
00:12Why was now the right time to make this finally happen after all these years?
00:16Oh, boy. The straightforward answer is the day let us.
00:23You know, we've been trying for a long time, you know, basically since we did the original season two.
00:28And so, you know, it's it wasn't something we were like, now the time is right.
00:34We you know, we very much were like, we'll do it whenever you let us.
00:38And finally, you know, we hit the circumstances where everyone was available.
00:41Stars was on board and, you know, they were like, all right, you know, you've got six episodes.
00:47Go for it. And so that's, you know, we sprung into action.
00:51And that was basically what made the decision for us.
00:53And, you know, I wish we had the power to decide exactly when we liked to do it or not.
00:59But yeah. Better late than ever.
01:02When you guys all when your whole team sat down and kind of mapped out everyone's stories about all the old characters coming back,
01:08was there a specific character whose story you had the hardest time kind of mapping out in terms of where they are today?
01:14Um, let's see here.
01:19I you know, a lot of it was sort of projected from the very, you know, from the first two seasons.
01:24You know, we saw hints of like, for instance, you know, what Adam's character was considering doing.
01:30And we saw hints of, you know, we saw at the end what happened to Constance and, you know, all this sort of stuff.
01:36So, you know, I think the hardest was maybe, you know, when we started to think about like, oh, what's going to happen to Lizzie Kaplan's character?
01:44But then, you know, she had she was the one who had the conflicts that, you know, she could not join us or whatever.
01:51So, you know.
01:54Mixed blessing for us because she was kind of the one that we were, you know.
01:59Had the most complicated kind of, you know, return story or whatever.
02:03But, you know, at the end, we'll save that for season four.
02:07But everyone else, yeah, we kind of knew pretty instinctively where they would be.
02:14And then, you know, just figuring out what to do with them after that, I think was, you know, that was a tricky part.
02:19But yeah, you guys bring in a great number of guest stars, as you did in the past.
02:25Who was your favorite person, a certain actor to bring on for an episode or two for this revival?
02:30Oh, man.
02:31I mean, it's hard to pick a favorite.
02:32I think, you know, for me, it's always most interesting to see people that I haven't seen before, in a way.
02:39So, you know, Calum Worthy was really good.
02:43You know, my wife was actually a big fan of his, but I did not actually know who he was.
02:48So, you know, coming in and being really funny was, like, fantastic.
02:51And, you know, same episode, Nick Opperman, obviously.
02:55But, you know, everyone's great.
02:57And it's, you know, it's very, you know, satisfying and fun for us to be able to sort of bring these people in to just sort of, you know, have these kind of weird characters that they get to just kind of run off with, you know, just for one episode.
03:12And then that kind of, you know, helps us keep the storytelling fresh and helps keep the show kind of interesting so that we're not just staring at the same people all the time.
03:20Yeah, it's always nice to bring in some fresh blood.
03:23And my last question, you referenced just before a possible season four.
03:27Are there plans in motion about what a season four could look like if you guys got the green light?
03:31Oh, boy.
03:32I mean, we certainly have thoughts, but we don't, you know, there are no plans in motion at this point just because, you know, it was certainly a lift to get this up and running.
03:42And so, you know, I'm sure we would love to do more and all that sort of stuff, but we certainly have not yet had those conversations soon.
