Filipina wushu artist Agatha Wong continued her reign at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games, ruling the women’s taijijian+taijiquan on Sunday, December 14 at the Ratthaprasasanabhakti Building for her sixth overall gold medal in the biennial competition.
Scoring 9.773 in taijiquan on Saturday, Wong displayed another exquisite performance to claim 9.783 points in taijijian Sunday for a total of 19.556 and her second straight title in the combined events.
Wong won her first four SEA Games golds with taijijian and taijiquan being separated events, having ruled taijiquan in 2017 and 2019, taijijian in 2019, and taijijian in 2021.
