The only missing piece in Nesthy Petecio’s decorated career as a boxer is an Asian Games medal. The first Filipina pug to win an Olympic medal said she was itching to clinch any medal in the 2026 Nagoya Games regardless of color. The 33-year-old Davaoeño added that she planned to return to training following eye surgery, which she underwent immediately after winning a bronze medal at the 2025 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Thailand.
