00:00I don't want to move into somewhere that's just a dump where the toilets
00:17don't flush the windows open nothing works let's get on with it hammer it
00:22down thank how we're out what can go wrong what's this saying about polishing a
00:30turd although a turd with loads of potential to our new house making it
00:45now the real work begins just ripping it apart with my bare hands
00:52I am planning to run this year's London Marathon to raise money for the Institute for Cancer he said
01:00I'm currently in hospital waiting for the prognosis he's going to be out of action for everything
01:11my mom is just a lifesaver
01:22it's now been a month since Jasmine and John got the keys to their place and after a few weeks of
01:34doing temporary work to make it liveable they've been able to move in all the work that we've done
01:42up until now is really the bare minimum I don't think we've even really scratched the surface
01:48because now the real work begins
01:51box fizz
01:56bit of a treat isn't it
02:00cheers
02:01cheers
02:02it's the morning one
02:04even nice to be eating breakfast outside in November
02:09I know what a win everyone's at home with their like gloves and scarves and hats and everything
02:17I think what we need to work on maybe we're trying to isolate areas to do you know rather than doing
02:24it as one big build because we're living here and because of potentially because of cost although I know
02:29lots of people say it's cheaper in the long run to do it in one big hit
02:34I don't think we have that luxury I think we have to live here we can't afford to go into another rental
02:40which is one of the reasons we're now living here so camping semi ready state
02:49we're going to try and tackle the renovation floor by floor which is slightly foolish but we're going to
02:55start on the first floor get the kids room sorted and move on from there the second phase will be
03:01the basement the reasoning behind that is we think if we put a little seating area maybe a little
03:09kitchenette down in the basement then when we go into phase three which is going to be the living
03:14room kitchen ground floor we can live downstairs because we're living here we don't want it to
03:21disrupt our lives too much and they want to have it all done in less than eight months time and I had
03:30the great idea of maybe we should throw a party to celebrate a kind of housewarming party because I
03:37don't feel we can have a housewarming party in this state but it would be nice to get everyone to come over
03:44and celebrate with us once the house is finished
03:50so with that plan laid out and the party to organize on to their first task removing a wall out on the
03:57patio while it might not be the most essential it certainly looks fun the previous owner had started
04:06an extension of the patio so it only makes sense to finish it off
04:12a new side wall has already gone up reclaiming part of the lower level driveway
04:18but the old wall still needs demolishing and the floor needs sorting too
04:22the floor needs to be done and the floor needs to be done and the floor needs to be done and
04:26just ripping it apart with my bare hands
04:31i tell you what it's a really good workout for your shoulders and your arms
04:37because who needs to go to the gym i was kind of hesitant about taking out this wall initially because
04:46basically these tiles lovely blue and yellow tiles all around the patio were chosen by the lady that
04:54used to own this house we'd have to have tiles to go all around that bit and we just we don't have
05:01more of them i just you know i think about the person who's she's chose them with love and put them here
05:08and then i'm just smashing them to bits which feels a bit wrong
05:16having found knocking down the kitchen wall so satisfying let's not hang around let's take out
05:20another wall
05:26this is going to be absolutely lovely but it does make you look at it and go this is going to be
05:32massive isn't it i mean it makes you keeping this wall it makes you instantly realize how big it's
05:38going to be well unless you want to unless you want to take out a wall that's probably structurally
05:44holding up half of the house that's holding up the terrace above it oh yeah
05:49i just feel like i can't smash it to bits with these tiles on let me have a go
06:03this isn't my first wall knocking down rodeo this is number two
06:09go on john it's kind of like therapy you know you could do anger management courses with demolishing walls
06:15with that mood boosting activity complete it's time to focus on priorities starting on the first
06:29floor there are two bathrooms a couple of balconies a sun terrace a spare room and jasmine's priority
06:39albie and joy's bedrooms oh joy it's it's going to be lovely your room isn't it hopefully for the kids
06:49to feel like this is home and for them to have some ownership of their own home we really want them to
06:57be involved in getting excited about the renovation and especially about their own bedrooms so we're kind
07:06of giving them a bit of a free reign to do whatever they can imagine in their own bedrooms
07:13what plans have you got or ideas well i'm planning to have a rain foresty themed bedroom
07:24and then what i'm thinking a little hammock on the ceiling just there to put like teddies on or
07:30something because i have so many so like a rope sort of hammock something that would be nice in the
07:36rainforest for sure and across the hallway tell me what's your idea for how you'd like your room to
07:45look i want it to look like a rainbow broke into the house and vomited on it
07:56are you serious yeah
08:01so when when i think of rainbow vomit all i can think of is like a big swirly mass of different
08:08colours all mixed up together is that what you want yeah i was not expecting albion to come out with
08:15the rainbow vomit theme i don't know where he got it from i know he likes bright colours he loves yellow
08:22so i kind of thought he might want some sort of quite sunny bright room but rainbow vomit well it just
08:32shows what a great imagination he's got and he's full of ideas and full of fun and i think his bedroom
08:38will reflect that part of his personality
08:53mommy's getting the minion ones yeah i am at the moment but look there's some here albie can pick
08:58i'll be i got the plastic one it's hazel gonna pick she looks absolutely petrified poor thing
09:07she doesn't like it
09:12it's tiny it's hidden amongst the oranges fresh orange i don't like orange fresh orange
09:19and then another one what are you gonna make of your own lemons
09:27as the whole family settle into their new life in their new home the build continues with the current
09:33focus being the first floor home to the kids bedrooms we're currently working on albie's room
09:38and part of the plan with his room is to open up access to the balcony next to his bedroom
09:43currently only accessible from the hallway so a new doorway is needed so this is where you can start
09:49the door from so it has to be from here to here which is 80 centimeters including the door frame
09:57which is basically a standard door size but can i find a door in that size no and if we have to have
10:06doors custom made not only is it expensive but it will also take much longer so i'm in a bit of a
10:14conundrum about what to do to be honest with the door a messy first floor job they're keen to start
10:21with no actual door on site yet builder carlos and his team are turning to tasks in other parts
10:27of the house like prepping the patio feeling quite frustrated today in fact there was a little accident
10:37with the fiber optic cable the fiber optic cable got run over by the compactor by mistake and so i
10:45needed to get that fixed as a priority because on monday the concrete's getting poured over that patio
10:54which meant that i didn't get some other stuff done so now i'm just worried that next week
11:02if i don't get these doors in time i don't know what carlos and martin are going to i don't know what
11:10they're going to be doing um because that was the plan for next week was to get those balcony doors done
11:27the next morning an old friend of john's who's holidaying in the area is popping around to say hello
11:32hello lilyana was married to hairy biker dave myers for more than a decade before he sadly passed away
11:47from cancer just over a year ago thank you it's lovely to give me so welcome thank you this is your
11:54this is your new this is our building site while it's the first time jasmine and lilyana have met
12:01john has known her for years having worked on dave's cooking shows for around 15 years my friendship
12:07with dave meant the world to me and he often spoke about jazz and lil meeting when he was alive which
12:13we never got around to doing so when lil came over to see the house and to meet jazz for the first time
12:18it was great i do admire what you started because it's not easy to start something in a new country
12:25have you done renovations yeah we've done done before and most of the time on my own really
12:32as it happened because dave was uh working david always working sounds like sounds familiar
12:38and he would come home and say oh my darling we have a beautiful home don't we yes now go and put the
12:45curtains up no jamie oliver doesn't have to do it in his house why should i remember very vividly when dave
12:53called me with his cancer diagnosis and you know it sort of blew me away and you know that was one
13:02of the reasons we decided to up sticks and live for the moment oh my god look at this face
13:09you like it it already looks like a home yes it's got a soul it's got it does doesn't it oh do you get
13:17that okay and you know if i was showing someone around this house i'd say listen you know you've got
13:22to realize there's a lot of work to be done here i've probably worn them off but when we walked in
13:27we just thought it's got so much potential come and have a look at this little very inviting swimming
13:34pool well i can imagine how it's going to be when it's going to be inviting yeah have a dip
13:41do you want to dip our lemon tree or big lemons yeah it's that way it's like we're living an actual
13:46place in the sun episode it's an amazing space what's not to like about it oh it's good isn't
13:52it it's that it's all done to give the kids an adventure and yeah so it's you know life's too short
13:59and yeah well we know that don't we yeah we do i mean that was yeah exactly you know i know john
14:07lost a very good friend in dave and i also lost a good friend around the same time john and i both
14:16lost friends to cancer um dave myers was one of them lil's husband and johnny erwin was the other
14:26johnny and i started our careers in television together we kind of grew up together in in this
14:32industry and losing him and seeing him taken away so soon far far far too soon it's been so hard
14:46even harder for his wife and his family
14:52it just doesn't seem fair johnny was always up for a laugh life and soul of the party
15:02for us it was kind of a bit of a wake-up call you think you have to do those things that you're
15:08dreaming about i know that dave was always the one who would say go for it do it yeah yeah he never
15:14did he never did anything by halves no no him johnny there are i mean 100 of those moments where you
15:21just go oh right you don't know what's around the corner and with that john and liliana take a stroll
15:29down to the beach that house is all about the location that's the reason we bought it i can
15:35totally understand why you and jasmine chose this this corner of the world to be in living somewhere
15:42like this is a bit more about trying to have an outdoor lifestyle and you know get more exercise
15:49and as dave knew i had run one or two marathons foolishly
15:54um but i am i am planning to run this year's london marathon to raise money for the institute of
16:01cancer research oh my god it's massive thank you you're very welcome being able to run the london
16:07marathon in memory of dave and jazz's friend johnny uh is awesome it means a lot to me i've got three
16:15months to run along this beach and get ready for the marathon as if i didn't have enough to do already
16:20being able to show lil the house the plans and the beach with dave having been such a driving force
16:31and factor for us coming out here it means it means a lot it means a great deal so whilst i am super
16:37anxious about the fact i haven't really started training what a better place to to train for a
16:43marathon than here today we're going to call marcia she's an interior designer and um john's known her
17:09for years and years and years and they're good friends hello in spanish i think there are always
17:18going to be some worries about using someone from the uk equally if we were using someone local we'd have
17:27different worries so i think it's just the question of finding someone that you trust and that you think
17:34will be able to listen to your requests and respond accordingly our priority today with marcia i think
17:41is to look at the first floor mainly the kids bedrooms they have quite a strong opinion on what they
17:48want so we just need a bit of guidance from someone who knows better than we do this is our son's
17:55bedroom albion's bedroom we are looking at putting a doorway just here in the corner he really likes this bed
18:02it's the only piece of furniture pretty much that we brought with us from the uk because he was so
18:08attached to it to be honest the interior stuff is the stuff that i get really much more excited about
18:17i love to be able to choose all the different little details and just enjoy finding little amazing
18:25things that are just perfect for that space his idea for his bedroom and these are his words marcia
18:34he said he wants it to look like a rainbow has vomited in his room
18:42that's amazing it'll make it feel like home for them yeah because they've been moved to another
18:47completely different landscape completely different country that will be bears this is something they've
18:52done so that's albie's room so that gives you plenty to think on i think with that i'm hoping that
19:01she's got the vision to be able to do what we want here i'll take you through to joy's room
19:10um so you can have a look her idea is she wants a jungle theme i think we can make it look really
19:18amazing with lots of plants and she wants to have a kind of hammock for all her soft toys amazing
19:28now this is joy's very own rooftop terrace it's huge big isn't it look for scale that's like la
19:40that's like so she's got ideas for out here as well like maybe um those kind of hanging chairs so
19:49she can sit and read the leg chair yeah she she likes the idea of that something quite cozy and
19:55she's also mentioned um i don't know how feasible this is or how much we will indulge our children but
20:02she said she'd like a river out here but maybe some yeah i'm thinking a river might be a water feature
20:08i'm thinking i'm thinking water feature these rooms that we've just shown you are our first priority
20:15mainly because none of them need much architectural change i think it's an amazing amazing house it's
20:21such a lovely find so i'm really excited for you thank you thanks marcia
20:25lovely we thought if anyone can if anyone can help you can thank you see you later bye adios we had a
20:34really really constructive video call we talked about the different styles and the different things that
20:40we envision happening in each room so hopefully we'll get some quite nice designs back to the build and
20:49the lack of materials such as the door needed to connect albion's bedroom to the balcony
20:54is starting to cause holdups we are very inexperienced with renovations
21:02and you know i just found out what a balcony door is called it's a balconera
21:07i didn't know that so i was searching online but not searching for the right thing so the whole thing
21:12has been a learning curve however there's no time as jasmine's got to head off to work for a few days
21:21leaving john and carlos to muddle through
21:29this afternoon we were slightly a lack of things to do so rather than sit around and not do anything
21:35we've decided to rip out a family bathroom in anticipation of fitting the new bathroom suite
21:41the new tiles etc the only small issue is we haven't chosen a new bath suite new tiles etc yet
21:51so
22:03despite already being pretty busy with work family life and of course a rather large home renovation
22:09john now has just a few months to train for the london marathon
22:13i've done one or two long runs marathons before for charity and it's nice it's good to be able to
22:21do something in people's memory it's good to be able to it's good to let you know let their legacy
22:28raise a bit of money for charity and yeah and it's good john is running in honor of friends dave
22:34myers and johnny irwin i also think running is very good for mental health it's good to get out and
22:43get out and have the motivation to get out into the fresh air and run
22:46come on come on come on astro let's do it this training run is the first one i've probably been
22:54on in six months let's do it let's do it come on come on come on come on come on you always start
23:00you always start with a strong start astro pulling me then you always end behind me
23:04first few kilometers uh always trickiest to try and stop yourself from having a quick shuffle
23:13or a quick walk uh but yeah it'll be fine
23:19i am looking forward to my first run along the paseo on the beach i mean what a better place to
23:25do a run than here
23:26i managed to get sort of uh i think eight or nine kilometers in which is great considering i
23:35haven't trodden on the pavement for six months i'm getting fun
23:45after a few days away on a place in the sun shoot jasmine's now back while john with the help of
23:52their builder carlos has managed to fairly successfully gut the family bathroom
23:59i mean we had no plan in place for replacing the bathroom yet but hey who needs bathrooms a little
24:05surprise for me not quite sure how i feel about that it's fine because we did want to put in a
24:12new bathroom the problem is now we've got an empty bathroom and obviously we've got carlos here
24:20we need to find things for him to do but we're just not ready we are not ready so it's a little bit
24:27stressing me out the plan today is for me and john to go and hopefully find some beautiful bathrooms
24:36tiles taps all the whole shebang we need everything i hate shopping unless it's online i'm not a massive
24:44fan of shopping though oh wow look at these a bit too bling very very custard soul gold tile but that
24:55yeah that color force it i love that though i would i don't know but that kind of color tap honestly
25:04it's giving me a headache already i think the problem that i have is you know i think the grass
25:13is always greener so i might see something really nice and then i think well i need to look around
25:16more i need to look around 10 different shops to make sure i've got the exact right thing that i want
25:21i mean it's just so many options and they're all you know there's a lot of nice options this is why you
25:27need conviction this way you just need to make a decision on color and this is what kind of floor
25:34you want and then you have and then you nail it down okay otherwise just walk around aimlessly for
25:38hours can i have a quick look at just at the rest before i make my decision and you just follow along
25:45yep wood effect floor wood furniture
26:03it's not plumbed in i was i just have it my legs hurt after i run this morning having not enjoyed the
26:10first bathroom shop that much i was a glutton for punishment and agreed to go to a
26:15second bigger posher bathroom shop swanky
26:23very posh if jazz is happy with how things look then uh then so be it let's let's crack on and buy
26:32it's all very dark very masculine sort of bathroom but i must say i like that tap
26:38do you have any preference for the style of the loose square round flat top i think our next step is
26:47to have a look at some of the brochures because there are loads of other things that they don't
26:52have in the stores you know there's no way they'd have room to display everything we need to order a lot
26:59back at the house it's the weekend and the kids need entertaining
27:11tomorrow morning the concrete truck is coming to fill in the the new bit of patio and we thought it'd
27:23be a really fun idea to do a time capsule so we are together with the kids putting a few things in
27:30their little pictures and they're decorating some stones from this year um which we think will be
27:38just quite fun and quite exciting i'm writing astro dog age two and a half and i'm writing hazel cat
27:46um aged one dear finder my name is joy and i'm 11 years old and i live here in the costa del sol
27:56the current year is 2025 self-driving cars have been invented ai is growing fast and clothes skincare
28:04and makeup are increasingly expensive i hope that the planet still exists and mankind hasn't killed
28:09everything else joy should we put a few coins in as well from our currency yeah put a credit card in
28:19i'm not putting my credit card in there we go one day someone might find it hopefully that's exciting
28:32upstairs john's surveying the now gutted bathroom and even without an actual design or bathroom to install
28:39it's been keeping carlos busy we discovered there was flaky concrete and the walls were crumbling
28:46so we've since spent a couple of days getting cement back on the wall and making the walls good again
28:52so we can we can work from scratch so that's more time in the bathroom and more money in the bathroom
29:01the next day with jasmine off doing a bit of shopping john and the team are busy plan this morning is
29:08we're just waiting for a cement truck to deliver uh quite a lot of cement so that we can pour in the slab of
29:13this patio at the front the time capsule goes in there until the next generation of people to
29:20renovate this house find it it turns out the empty cement mixer is a slightly more skilled job than i
29:27might have given it credit for but then again i don't think you're supposed to do it it turns out with
29:35just one wheelbarrow and a couple of those big squidgy rubber tub things i'm trying to understand but
29:44i think when they came around to look at it they said they were going to bring the channel so that
29:47it would just pour into the pour onto the slab that definitely hasn't happened and now we've got a
29:55patio full of cement in the wrong place carlos seemed very chilled about it given we had copious amounts
30:14of cement pouring towards us down a tube i was running around like a lunatic with a bucket panicking
30:25the outcome is what we wanted but uh getting there was not quite as straightforward goodbye time
30:30capsule there was definitely a moment of panic when i thought i was about to be covered in cement
30:37on the patio i thought i'd be buried not just uh the time capsule whatever happens we're ingrained in
30:42this property forever until another generation or civilization uh knocks this place down and finds
30:51a tiny little lego figure and a couple of stones as it's so thick it's going to take four or five
31:01days for that cement to dry but upstairs the family bathroom is now ready for jasmine to make some
31:06solid plans we've been trying to figure out where everything's going to go in this bathroom so in spain
31:15normally you have the entire bathroom tiled from floor to ceiling don't know if we're going to do
31:23the whole room but yeah we're just trying to decide so i'm just marking it out to see how it's all going
31:30to look make sure everything's going to fit i hope i've got the measurements right i mean what could
31:38possibly go wrong and then basically straight along to there if it doesn't fit i will blame john
31:58reminds me of the old days in east london
32:01down the corridor the door to connect albion's bedroom to the balcony has finally arrived
32:16and work can begin
32:20when we ordered the door that we're fitting today
32:23it said one to two days delivery i think in actual fact it took about eight or nine days delivery so
32:29we're kind of learning that we need to build in a big contingency when we order stuff
32:33and that not necessarily to believe what it says when we order it but it's fine it's really early days
32:44i mean it does look like i'm just standing here watching
32:49that's kind of because that is exactly what i am doing
32:50yeah
32:57yeah
33:01already as soon as you walk in that room you're like wow lighter
33:04not to sound like a place in the sun house hunter but that room is now lighter and brighter
33:10now we're going to try and make good and get the door in i say we
33:14and a few hours later the royal we have it fitting like a glove ready for the edges to be tidied up and painted
33:34what does every renovation need
33:37it needs someone end up in hospital with a fractured leg early on in the build
33:45last night went for an innocent game of paddle paddle tennis and somehow managed to take a nasty fall
33:53and fracture my left leg john's broken his leg in two places tibia and fibula
34:02it it doesn't seem possible or real that that sort of an injury could have happened whilst playing paddle
34:15how i've never broken anything in my life before and to be honest it's quite painful
34:24i'm currently in hospital waiting for the prognosis but it looks like they might have to operate and it
34:28looks like i might be immobile for quite a few weeks if not months a double break in the leg is
34:38extremely serious he's going to be out of action for everything
34:46indeed with so much ahead of them time and finances already stretched this could bring
34:52everything to a halt with nowhere else to turn jasmine calls on her mum
34:59when i told my mum on the phone that john had broken his leg she was so worried
35:07we had a chat put the phone down half an hour later she texted me and said i've booked a flight
35:16and i was so grateful for her coming over i'm basula i'm jasmine harman's mum
35:23and as soon as i heard that her husband john had broken his leg really badly i was expecting to be
35:36needed if there's one person in your life that you can rely on
35:40it's your mum and my mum has 100 percent stepped up to the plate by saying she'll come out and help
35:48well this is the first time i've seen the house and because john's in hospital and jasmine's at work
35:56i've had to let myself in and um take a tour on my own and it's fantastic i can i can see so much
36:05potential that i'm really um pleased and excited that they're going to be so happy and this is their
36:14forever home how you doing she would drop everything to help family and to have someone
36:26so selfless my mum is just a lifesaver how traumatizing i can't even express how much that
36:37means to me i haven't got the words thank you for coming oh it's the least i could do i'm so sorry for
36:47do you want my brother i love my grandchildren my family and they always come first whatever else is
36:55going on
37:08the next morning with john set to stay in hospital for a few days waiting to have an operation
37:13and jasmine booked to film an episode of a place in the sun a short drive up the coast the family
37:18slipped back into their routine i'm john now for today every time anyone's nice to me i start crying
37:31in my next door neighbor she just offered me she said do you need to borrow a wheelchair
37:38she said my auntie's got one i said yes please when i started crying when everyone's so nice
37:48i always think i can do it all but then sometimes something's got to give doesn't it yeah i'm not
37:58very good at accepting help either no are we control freaks are we related oh now can you go and do
38:07the next love laundry and mop the basement a few days later and john is getting ready to come home
38:19with two months of bed rest in front of him it's four days after my unexpected tumble on a paddle court
38:27which is the last thing we needed i am now out of the operation and they put pins in my left leg and
38:36as of today i am discharged however i am unable to walk so i'm just waiting for jazz to finish work
38:44to come and pick me up renovating a house moving to spain all of those things you can't really do it
38:52from being sat on a chair or in a wheelchair on a bed not easily anyway let's hope i clear this up soon
38:59let's hope old leg down there doesn't take so long to repair and i'm back knocking down walls sooner
39:09than we think there was no ambulance there was nothing i mean i had to go and pick him up in our car
39:18with his leg broken i mean it was really difficult didn't help the fact that it was pouring with rain
39:31i've actually got a zimmer frame
39:32we had to call in help from a few friends at the royal homecoming we feel very lucky and very
39:45grateful that we have made some amazing friends here who really stepped up to the plate hi guys thank you
39:54but it's okay being here to help the weather was awful it was treachery i mean it's so slippery that
40:01patio anyway so dangerous i thought oh he's gonna slip he's had surgery less than 24 hours ago
40:08the red carpet i think it took at least half an hour if not 45 minutes to get john from the car
40:18to the front door the best will be if we hold you instead of you go um yeah i think we're going
40:25to need to move this out of the way yeah yeah i mean when you've just broken your leg and you've had
40:30a metal rod put in there it's not exactly easy to get upstairs in the pouring rain without hurting
40:37yourself right okay so i'm going to get my butt onto that towel okay you want me to yeah you two helping
40:44you two helping really helped earlier okay one two and three in fact in fact you two are doing it all
40:51oh it's all good um so now i need to get up we're gonna go uh slowly one two and three slowly slowly
41:03chair in chair in chair yeah don't give him a bit of help no no no no no no no there you go cool
41:13let's get it when we renovate the house should we put a ramp there yeah
41:23the whole experience was painful but the payoff was being at home in my own bed
41:28and most importantly with my kids i've prepared my gorgeous boy let's get you to bed
41:34important you to sleep you've had lots of drama on late nights the moment of sitting in my bed and
41:42having my kids cuddle up to me was uh yeah it was pretty special it was worth the pain
41:48having never broken anything before i've gotten to the age of 45 with a fairly clean bill of health
41:55i can hand on heart say that was very painful i genuinely didn't think that i would be putting my
42:02really poor level of spanish to use so quickly at a medical hospital level i mean i'm not joking at
42:10one point i was having to try and use translate to work out how you say can i have another bottle to
42:15pee in please you know that you don't learn that even on the best language apps
42:30the next day with john unable to leave his bed and vasula in control of everything at home jasmine is
42:37back on location prices have risen by as much as 20 over the last year oh sorry let me start again
42:45from the beginning okay i'm finding it hard to concentrate on work i think you know when you're
42:50away kind of out of sight out of mind but now i know he's just down the road i kind of i'm having
42:57trouble focusing a little bit at work i just want to sort of get everything done so that i can get back
43:03to him and to the kids no i do i love orange juice but it's a prop we're not allowed to drink it
43:09for a few days life carries on but with jasmine's shoot coming to a close
43:15her mum is heading back to the uk
43:20quite sad to leave jasmine tomorrow because i'm worried about jaz being overworked and overwhelmed with
43:28the amount of work she will have to do to be honest this accident has thrown a little
43:34bit of a spanner in the works on the renovation because we were all ready on the back foot and
43:40trying to catch up with ourselves with ordering things having things delivered you know i have
43:47actually told carlos just to have a break because i couldn't cope with
43:52the renovation with work with the kids with you know going to the hospital looking after john
44:00so i just paused everything the downside of that is obviously we we would love to have the place
44:07finished by the summer
44:12but this might mean that it's going to take a lot longer
44:16my dad has come over for a working holiday look at this wall
44:29laura is a friend of mine basically we're doing stucco plastering yeah
44:33could make our millions adding to your skill set yeah jaz has definitely pulled out the bag shall we
44:40be
44:45it's so cool
