00:00Why did Heimdall choose to send Hulk back to Earth at the beginning of Avengers,
00:03Infinity War instead of Thor? First, Heimdall was completely injured.
00:07He only had enough energy to send one person and had three options, Thor, Loki, and Hulk.
00:11Loki was dismissed immediately. Heimdall couldn't entrust such a desperate warning to a notorious
00:15trickster. And even if he tried, would Dr. Strange and Wong trust Loki enough to act in time?
00:20Then there was Thor, being Heimdall's closest ally. He seemed like the obvious choice,
00:24but at that moment Thor was immobilized, barely able to speak, and was Thanos' primary target.
00:28Even if Heimdall tried to send him, Thanos or Ebony Maw might have reacted quickly enough
00:31to stop it. That left Hulk, who was injured, nearly unconscious, and off Thanos' radar.
00:36He had the best chance of escaping unnoticed. Additionally, the magic powered by dark energy
00:40could injure whoever was transported. A weakened Thor might not survive the process, but Hulk,
00:44being nearly indestructible, could endure it. To gather Earth's mightiest heroes once again
00:48so they can finally face Thanos again.
