BTS Reveals If They Have Ever Hooked Up With Their Fan ARMY
Transcript
00:00K-pop has come to America. BTS is doing all the big talk shows. You'll love how they learned English. Plus, do the Bantan boys hook up with fans?
00:14Hey guys, it's Gino the producer with your most necessary story of the day and BTS is here on American soil taking over the talk show circuit.
00:21But their fans, known as ARMY, did not need to follow. Based on literally every girl I know here in New York City at least, the ARMY was already here waiting.
00:30Fresh off the heels of their American TV debut at the AMAs, BTS has now done a concert for Jimmy Kimmel. They shot something with James Corden, possibly carpool karaoke. We don't know yet. James is going to have to rent a pretty large minivan for that one.
00:43But okay, the best appearance so far, as always, is their sit down with Ellen. And despite being Korean, the language barrier isn't so bad. All thanks to RM and his love of 90s sitcoms.
00:53My English teacher was a sitcom, Friends.
00:56Oh, you watched Friends?
00:57Yes.
00:58It was quite like a syndrome for all the Korean parents to make their kids watch the Friends. I thought I was kind of like a victim at that time, but...
01:06But right now, I'm the lucky one.
01:08Yeah.
01:08So it's got 10 DVDs, right?
01:10Right.
01:11She bought me. And so firstly, I watched with the Korean subtitle. And then next time I watched with the English subtitle. And then I just...
01:18Yes, RM, aka Rap Monster, the group's leader, speaks incredibly fluent English, all because of Chandler, Joey, and Monica. But I kind of feel like he's more of a Ross, right? Or is he a Rachel?
01:29I have to say, Americans are not used to boy bands being this big, literally. But I think this makes sense.
01:33Because fully three of these dudes could pull a Zayn, quit the band, and disappear forever with the Hadid sister, and they'd still have enough dudes for some two-on-two pickup basketball.
01:41Now, would this ever come up? Well, actually, Shuka has kind of a sick jump shot.
01:45Koby, this really reminds me of Louis Tomlinson and his love of football.
01:58Louis might have had a rough night, but for those who don't know, BTS in Korean stands for Bulletproof Boy Scouts. So maybe being Boy Scouts, they don't party like those Brits.
02:07Well, Alan handles this one again, and asked the question we all want to know. Has anyone in BTS ever dated a fan, aka someone in their incredibly loyal ARMY?
02:16You know what I mean. Have you all ever dated one of your ARMY?
02:22Explain what hooked up means. Come on.
02:26Not. Not.
02:30That's right. No.
02:30Wow, that is definitive. We will be sending V the DVD box set, so maybe he can elaborate on that at some point.
