00:00The Indianapolis Colts haven't released who they're going to start at quarterback.
00:03Keep in mind, we didn't think there was even an option.
00:05You sign Phillip Rivers, he's probably going to be the starter,
00:08but we are getting practices here from Riley Leonard this week.
00:11The total sits at 42.5.
00:13The side, Joe, minus 13.5.
00:15Sam Darnold versus, we hope, is number 17.
00:19And that number 17, that ain't Daniel Jones.
00:21It's Phillip Rivers.
00:23No, I mean, the Colts season, we talked,
00:26it's just turned into a total disaster.
00:29And now a sideshow here.
00:31But listen, you know, I appreciate the effort to do anything and everything they can.
00:35But the reality is, you know, their offensive line is a problem, too.
00:40Why, Donnie?
00:41Because whether it's Riley or Phillip Rivers,
00:44they're not going to have their all-pro right tackle Braden Smith here,
00:48who ranks, I believe, Donnie, is one of only a handful of guys
00:53that's given up two or a few sacks all season long.
00:56That's a problem.
00:57The defense, without Buckner, without Sauce Gardner, without Ward now,
01:02that's a problem.
01:03So not good here at all for Indy.
01:07Yeah, it doesn't look like you're going to have to get Phillip Rivers
01:09to get into a shootout with Seattle.
01:10You're probably going to try to keep that ground-and-pound style
01:13there with Jonathan Taylor in the backfield.
01:15Let's hear from Uncle Phil on what he thinks about this weekend.
01:18The easiest way to eliminate all the things that might can go bad
01:20is to stay home.
01:21And the only way to find out, can you still do it, is to go try.
01:26And I really try to keep it that simple.
01:28And so, again, I don't have any concern from the neck up,
01:33and I don't have any concern of, you know, making a throw.
01:37But, again, the game's not routes on air.
01:39But I'm excited.
01:42It feels good to have teammates that I've played with.
01:44I've been in the huddle with JT.
01:45I've been in the huddle with Quentin.
01:46I've been in the huddle with Pitt and Moe and these guys.
01:48I've been in there with them.
01:49And so something about that feels like crap.
01:51Has it been five years?
01:53Like, dang, everything feels the same.
01:55And, again, I'm not naive to the challenge that's ahead at all.
01:59But I really keep saying keep it that simple.
02:02I'm trying to keep it that simple.
02:03You know, and I know that the NFL is a big deal, and it can be whatever it can be.
02:09But, to me, it's like, hey, you get to play football, potentially,
02:12for four more weeks, and maybe then some.
02:14And as long as I can live with the results, both good or bad,
02:19and go back home and move on, then I was willing to go for it.
02:23And I was able to get to that place mentally.
02:27How's he not in, like, his post-career, like,
02:29usually you retire, you go into the broadcast booth.
02:30He would be sensational as the color guy in a broadcast booth here.
02:34Did you see how animated he is?
02:36It's going to be fun.
02:36It could be a disaster, or he could throw for a buck 92 scores,
02:40and they pull out the victory.
02:41We don't know.
02:42I'm leaning more towards it's not going to work out.
02:44But, damn it, this is fun.
02:47It's good to see Roger Clemens playing football, apparently,
02:51because a quick look.
02:53That looked a lot like Roger Clemens going on there.
02:56But, listen, he's coming in with the right attitude.
02:59Doesn't he just say he sounds like what a quarterback is supposed to be,
03:04a leader, a guy that, you know, commands the room.
03:07He's a pro's pro.
03:09So, as long as the guys in that huddle and on the sideline believe he can get it done,
03:14we have seen crazier things in the NFL, in this sport, Donnie.
03:18If your guys believe in you, anything is possible here.
03:23Yeah.
