00:00The Land Transportation, Franchising and Regulatory Board, or LTFRB, will be imposing penalties

00:06against Errant Transport Network Vehicle Service, or TNVS, drivers who cancel bookings.

00:13According to LTFRB Chair Vigor Mendoza II, this move is still in accordance with the

00:19directive of the President, or President Vernon R. Marquez Jr., to ensure the welfare of the

00:24commuters. Under LTFRB Memorandum Circular 2025-055, booking cancellations that are the

00:32TNVS driver's own decision are covered under refusal to convey passengers and have corresponding

00:39penalties. This includes a 5,000 peso fine for the first offense, a 10,000 peso fine, a 30 days

00:46impoundment of the vehicle for the second offense, and a 15,000 peso fine and cancellation of the

00:52certificate of public convenience for succeeding offenses. Exempted from this are cancellations

00:59due to calamities such as flooding, vehicle problems, and problems with the passenger's behavior.
