00:00Well, I obviously have to ask about Never Have I Ever.
00:03Are you feeling satisfied with where Debbie ends up?
00:07I personally like how season four is going to end.
00:12That being said, I have no idea how they're going to edit it.
00:16So I realize now what I think the ending is, I could be totally wrong and be like,
00:21oh, whoa, that's totally different.
00:23How season three ended, I love because Debbie's taking control of her own life.
00:27You know, like, yeah, yeah, team Ben, team Paxton.
00:29We all know I'm team Davey.
00:30But I love that Davey's just, you know, she's exploring herself and she's feeling confident.
00:35You know, that's season three, Davey is definitely not the same girl that we saw in season one.
00:39And I think that's really cool.
00:41And then how did you bring her to the final episode?
00:44Final episode four or I mean, filming it.
00:49Okay, while filming the day I wrapped, I totally cried.
00:53I mean, I really like didn't want to out of just like pride, which was stupid.
00:56So, yeah, it was totally just pride and very, very stupid.
01:01But it was emotional.
01:03It was really good.
01:04And it was interesting because everyone was slowly rapping.
01:08So it was sort of like, you know, last man standing vibes.
01:10And I was like, oh, this is getting really sad.
01:14Huh.
01:15But, yeah, all good things come to an end.
01:17How the final episode, like when you filmed your final scenes, were you satisfied or you're still wouldn't even know how it ends because of the editing?
01:26I mean, yeah, I personally like how the scenes went, but I have no idea if they'll like cut a scene and then it's like, you know, maybe they take out something from the end.
01:34I'm trying not to say too much.
01:36But, yeah, I'm doing my job, doing the job.
01:39But, yeah, from what I know, from what is on the page of the script that I was given Once Upon a Time, I like it.
01:47Now, how do you feel about the fan passion for Team Paxton and Team Ben?
01:52I mean, hey, if you're passionate about it, I love love too.
01:56I can't deny it.
01:57And I'm also always like take whatever you want from the show, whether that's just like fun, you know, teen romance in the form of a love triangle.
02:04Great. Awesome. I'm not going to judge you for that.
02:06But if you want to take more of the story about a girl who's, you know, dealing with grief and self-discovery, great. Awesome.
02:12I'm just always Team Davey.
02:14So that's that.
02:16As you should be.
02:17Would you want to come back to Davey in the future, like college or, you know, something like that?
02:25I mean, it depends on how long of a break in between.
02:29Never Have I Ever Season 4 and then when that would have...
02:32Like a reboot?
02:32Yeah, whenever that reboot would happen or whatever it would be.
02:36It really depends because I'll be honest, I am all in support of letting a story end when it needs to end because you don't want to like drag it out.
02:43Yeah, it's all about new chapter, right?
02:46You got to like let go of things to embrace new things.
02:49So, yeah, and I really do feel like Davey's in a good place.
02:53So as of right now, I feel like I would just let her be.
02:56But I mean, hey, who knows? Really, who knows?
02:58Did you do anything in particular to say goodbye to her?
03:01I don't think I did anything in particular.
03:05But what I will say is that when we were wrapping, a lot of my crew members and castmates said like, oh, don't worry, you still have press to do.
03:12And you'll still be able to like be in the Never Have I Ever world.
03:15And I was like, OK, OK.
03:17But then as soon as like I hit the red carpet for our season three premiere and we were done filming season four by that time, I could feel it that, oh, I'm not.
03:27This is this isn't the same, you know, like it's that realization that that character will never be portrayed or like like given life to ever again.
03:36And then it's done like that to me was Davey.
03:40This is this is my trait.
03:41Right.
03:42Exactly.
03:43Like an appreciating my work.
03:45But the character is dead for not to not say in a poetic way, I guess.
03:51Right.
03:52Dead.
03:53Yeah.
03:53You got it.
03:53But we're excited to see her for one more season.
03:58Now, will John McEnroe be making an appearance?
04:01Do you know?
04:02I know he he's your voiceover.
04:04I feel like I don't want to say anything about this season, but I feel like I feel like audiences, whoever's watching this can probably make a logical conclusion of what they think will happen in regards to that.
04:16Or maybe what new things will happen.
04:19I can't.
04:20I'm so good.
04:21You're doing a good job.
04:21Netflix is going to be really proud of you.
04:23Yes, please.
04:24Please be proud of me.
04:24Netflix.
04:25Thank you very much.
04:26Tell me a little bit about why you wanted to be here with the American Heart Association.
04:31I mean, I find it personally incredibly frustrating how much research goes into, you know, health and health care.
04:38But then when you really think about it, how little goes specifically into understanding women's health.
04:43Because we I don't know about you, but I have a lot of friends who, you know, they'll have their period cramps or it might not have a period for a very long time.
04:51And concerningly so, they'll go to the doctor and then the doctor will say like, oh, well, we don't really know.
04:56We'll just, yeah, it's stress or here are just some antibiotics and just you get tossed these things, but with no real answers.
05:03And I don't think that's right because there's so many things that could be going on and we don't know.
05:09Like cardiovascular disease is on the rise for younger women.
05:12And not a lot of people know that because we usually associate it as something that's for older men and then they have heart attacks.
05:18But it happens to women very often, concerningly so.
05:22Well, I think it's so important that you're bringing awareness to that, especially for younger women, as you said.
05:28And we have our health problems, too, and we deserve to be heard by doctors.
05:32100%.
05:32And I also think because like of how the world is going, I think especially women, but everyone is getting more and more busy.
05:39And because of that, people tend to put off their health.
05:42And then there's this normalized culture of, oh, like, just walk it off.
05:46Like, oh, it's probably nothing.
05:48Don't worry about it.
05:48Like, it's just probably stress.
05:50Exactly.
05:51We've heard that.
05:52But then maybe something really serious is going on and you could catch it earlier on, right, before maybe it's too late or something really bad is going to happen.
06:01So, you know, getting rid of that normalization of, oh, just walk it off and relax.
