00:006ix9ine defends himself after cops find a weapon in his home. Lil Wayne admits he
00:08didn't know who XXXTentacion was before the Carter Five. Plus, X has more new music on the way.
00:14Hey guys, it's Ali for Hollywood Life, starting with Kanye West, who recently
00:21went on TMZ Live, and he really took his time to answer questions.
00:25This is how every Starbucks barista feels. I'm joking. I think it's good,
00:41yay takes his time to think. For once. But alright, last week TMZ reported federal agents
00:46raided the Brooklyn home of rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine. It's unclear what prompted the search,
00:52but law enforcement found a gun in his home. This week TMZ is reporting that 6ix9ine's defense
00:57attorney Lance Lazaro told them a gun charge would be difficult to prove because the rapper does not
01:03own a gun. 6ix9ine was not home at the time of the raid and claims he moved out weeks before. The
01:09rapper has been recording in Colombia with Kanye West and performing in Russia. You know, where he
01:14and his crew beat up that fan. The reporting says several people, including movers and cleaners,
01:19have been in and out of the house while Tekashi has been gone. So the gun could actually belong to
01:25anyone. 6ix9ine also dropped a new song today featuring Bobby Shmurda. Isn't he in jail? Yup.
01:31The track is more proof that the Brooklyn rappers have put their beef behind them, but we can't say
01:36the same for Tekashi's feud with Hot 97 personality Ebro Duran. We can't play stupid for you. Well,
01:44because, you know, we'll get flagged. So I'll just spit the peachy version of the line for you.
01:48That guy Ebro, he a female dog. Just another guy on a young guy's jock. Moving on to Lil Wayne,
01:55the rapper spoke to Elliot Wilson in a new interview and revealed that he didn't know who
02:00XXXTentacion was before hearing him on the Carter Five.
02:04Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on, hold on, hold on. Stop, stop, stop.
02:06Turns out Young Money president Mack Main was behind the idea to feature X on the track Don't Cry.
02:12Wayne also mentions that he hasn't listened to the album since its release, saying that the emotional
02:17opener of his mom crying has kept him from returning to it. But speaking of X, the late
02:22rapper's second album may be closer to release than we thought. Genius reports that John Cunningham,
02:27co-executive producer of X's first album, Question Mark, told them in a recent interview that
02:33X finished a majority of his album before his death. During the phone interview, John told Genius,
02:38we basically started making this next album right after Question Mark came out. He goes on to say
02:43that the songs and overall vision for the album were very close to being complete and that most
02:49of what remains is mixing, mastering, and adding a couple things in. Cunningham's role is to now make
02:55the creative decisions following the blueprint that X left. But alright guys, you can click right up here
03:00to subscribe, bell, and like button as well. And leave us a comment below if you're excited to hear
03:06more music from X. Bye guys.
