00:05Never been done before, but the legendary rapper has been named the honorary coach of Team USA
00:12for not just the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, but then also for the 2028 Olympics.
00:20And that makes a lot of sense because 2028 Summer Olympics are in Snoop.
00:23L.A.
00:24Right.
00:24This is Snoop's city, right?
00:26Yeah.
00:26And that's where this Olympics will be played in a couple of years from now.
00:30But this has never been done before.
00:32But the U.S. Olympic Committee said, hey, Snoop Dogg, honorary coach.
00:37Not for just, like, the basketball team or the swimming, like, everything.
00:41The entire Team USA and Paralympics.
00:43That's pretty cool.
00:44He is a good hype man.
00:45Like, he is, like, very exciting.
00:46When he did it in Paris, it was the most entertaining thing.
00:49Toast, like, when he was talking about the crip walking and, like, with the horses,
00:52he was so funny and just on.
00:54Yeah.
00:55And he's just a very charming person.
00:57So it makes sense why he would do it because he brought, like, a whole new light to the Olympics.
01:01Yeah.
01:01No, he did.
01:01And it's just so much fun.
01:02He's a global celebrity who is still relevant all these years later.
01:05That's rare in itself.
01:07You remember when they were announcing that the 28 Olympics were coming to Los Angeles,
01:12Snoop was actually part of that announcement.
01:14So he's got a connection with the Olympics.
01:16So I think this made a ton of sense.
01:18By the way.
01:19It does make a lot of sense.
01:20But I feel like someone got very slighted and someone else should have been nominated.
01:25Flavor Flav!
01:26It should have been Flavor Flav!
01:27He was the OG with this.
01:28He was the OG.
01:29And we actually had Flavor Flav today here in our office hosting TMZ on TV.
01:34So you guys should definitely watch it.
01:36We talked to him about the Olympics because he's actually going to the Olympics.
01:39Man, he sponsored the water polo team court.
01:41I mean, like, he was really helpful to them.
01:43Like, giving them money, attention.
01:45And he's sponsoring the bobsled team in the Winter Olympics and the skeleton.
01:48And we saw a video of him doing the skeleton race.
01:50He hit up to 66 miles per hour.
01:53That's crazy.
01:54And he's like, if you didn't know how to do it, just put on a helmet and went.
01:56That's crazy.
01:56I was like, you're so awesome.
01:57Flav was, he was awesome.
01:59A lot of fun.
02:01Question, though, is he upset that Snoop's doing this?
02:04Or does he like it?
02:05Does he support him?
02:06We actually talked to him about that later.
02:07So check out the show.
02:08It was fun.
02:08Hi, Shamika from Staten Island here.
02:13You know, Snoop Dogg is a reminder to never let anyone put you in a box.
02:17As the mother of a special needs child, my daughter has cerebral palsy.
02:21It's so refreshing to see a celebrity as big as Snoop Dogg lend his face and his voice
02:26to something as prestigious as the Olympics and the Paralympics.
02:30It's really heartwarming.
02:32And it raises awareness around events people might not have watched otherwise.
02:36Listen, I'm going to be tuning in.
02:37I want to see what he's going to wear, what he's going to say.
02:40So I think it's very cool.
02:42I completely agree.
02:43People are going to be watching more stuff because Snoop is there.
02:46It's awesome what he's doing.
02:47I'm going to be watching more stuff because he's going to be watching more stuff because he's going to be watching more stuff like he's going to be watching more stuff like he's going to be watching more stuff like he's going to be watching more stuff like he's going to be watching more stuff like he's going to be watching more stuff like he's going to be watching more stuff like he's going to be watching more stuff like he's going to be watching more stuff like he's going to be watching more stuff like he's going to be watching more stuff like he's going to be watching more stuff like he's going to be watching more stuff like he's going to be watching.
