00:20And Orlando Bloom has now joined their ranks with a 30-pound weight loss for The Cut,
00:26about an Irish boxer pushing his body and mind for a championship title in just three months.
00:32The 48-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean actor said on This Morning
00:36that the impressive transformation wasn't easy and he was horrible to be around while preparing.
00:42I wouldn't recommend it to anyone at home, by the way.
00:45It was definitely not something to take lightly.
00:48He explained about his eating and training regime he had to follow.

00:59He basically teared me down from three meals a day to two to one, Bloom recalled.
01:05Towards the end, he was eating little more than tuna and cucumber for three straight weeks.
01:11I was just exhausted, mentally, physically, and I was just hangry.
01:15I was a horrible person to be around, Bloom confessed.
01:19He said the extreme diet severely affected his mental state,
01:22leading to paranoia and intrusive thoughts.
01:26It's really weird.
01:27We're supposed to eat and sleep and take care of ourselves,
01:31he added, reflecting on the experience.
