Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov sharply criticized European bureaucrats, accusing them of deliberately trying to prolong the Ukraine conflict. Speaking at the 10th Ambassadors’ Roundtable in Moscow, Lavrov said they are attempting to undermine former U.S. President Donald Trump’s peace initiatives, which he claims are aimed at resolving the root causes of the crisis.
Lavrov argued that Western political circles are obstructing any meaningful diplomatic breakthrough, insisting that genuine peace requires addressing fundamental issues fueling the conflict.
