37:20stand here today not just as mentors but as witnesses to one of the most inspiring legal journeys
37:26we've ever seen i am in awe every single day of how she juggles all that she does her business her
37:34acting her children and then to still decide that she wanted to take on this huge thing this is a
37:41monster i'm so proud of her that represents so much of what she's really made of six years ago kim
37:49kardashian walked into this program with nothing but a fierce desire to fight for justice this whole
37:55process of law school has taken a village it really started with van jones who recommended i do this
38:02program then it went into my attorneys jessica and aaron who really mentored me in reform work
38:11so it just means a lot to me that everyone that's been on this six-year journey with me is here kim has
38:17dedicated 18 hours a week 48 weeks a year for six straight years that's a total of 5 184 hours of legal
38:27study this month has been insane the only thing on my mind is taking the baby bar you are only allowed
38:34to take the baby bar a certain amount of times this was the last time i could ever take it all right guys i
38:40love you all but i'm kicking you out because i have to study i feel like a zombie i look like one too
38:50i haven't gotten out of my pajamas

39:15television shows and showing up in courtrooms to advocate for others and still looking gorge
39:29what would your dad say i mean he would be so he would be so damn proud he would be scott budnick
39:35is the first person that brought me to a prison i am kim hi and once i realized that i can make a
39:43difference it was really kind of hard to stop we need the faith leaders to get to the governor
39:48i talked to chat gpt and i asked them how many people has kim kardashian helped free anywhere from
39:55500 to 70 000 and they are home free because of you yes kim has always had such a sense of fairness
40:06and justice and that's why i think she got so involved and is so involved in prison reform
40:10he's at risk of being executed this morning a death row inmate who's claimed his innocence for
40:15more than 20 years is set to be executed unless oklahoma's governor intervenes this is a life or
40:21death situation the system is broken the governor commuted sentence oh my god are you serious like last
40:31possible freaking minute no one's ever really respected you know a reality star and i've always had to
40:37like break through this stigma and like i want to prove this to myself that i can do it and ultimately
40:44a huge like you to everybody too that thought that i can't grow or move beyond where i was for nearly
40:53three years kim worked to help get me free kim i want to tell you thank you yeah two daughters um seven
41:00grandchildren this isn't just about one person this is about an entire family's life who got
41:06completely ripped apart when you see something that's wrong and you say i can't accept it
41:25i've got to say something absolutely well i'm here to say something after 25 years and nine months behind
41:33bars her belief in me and her dedication to justice helped bring me home your mother is literally in
41:41history books now as a person that championed my case and humanized it you gave me like purpose
41:48you gave me freedom kim has an s on her chest she's a super mom she's a super businesswoman and she's a
41:57super advocate and soon to be a super attorney hearing these speeches and taking it all in and
42:04understanding how supported i feel by so many people that really helped me get to this place really is
42:13giving me the fuel that i'll need to go into the bar if a second chance ever does come that i'm well
42:18prepared that i know today that i'll never harm another individual i really hope you get that second
42:24chance because you are worthy of that seven years ago when you're working on criminal justice
42:30you were not embraced by anybody it's a lonely fight you get the smallest grants your phone call
42:38gets returned last if at all and then a miracle happened the biggest star in the world

43:02i don't think anyone would have imagined kim doing prison reform going to law school and she's doing

45:04even though my kids are chaotic today has really meant the world to me just being able to like put

45:18i don't think i got this with high school so i'm me neither that's what i was saying
45:22it just meant a lot to me that everyone showed up for this because this is such a huge chunk of my
45:28life one two three oh that's a really big deal i graduated law school so i did want to like soak in
45:40the moment and soak in the fact that i have a degree oh gosh like i don't think i'm gonna sit
45:49i think i'm gonna go actually initially they had me sitting next to kim allison is the one who was
45:57doing the seating and was like hey okay cord i'm putting you next to kim are you coming i'm so excited
46:03and i'm like yeah and then chloe and allison then go we'll talk and we'll do the seats
46:08i get there and chloe's next to kim and i'm at the end of the table next to our attorney no offense to the
46:15attorney but like i don't know the attorney i've met her once that was enough for you i have to
46:20i'm breastfeeding if i was sitting next to kim i would have at least sat down for a couple minutes
46:27i didn't have time to eat anyways i mean i had to get home i need proof that court was here yeah you do
46:33but i was like i am out of here this makes it really easy for me i have to go soon yeah if you
46:41did nothing else you've done more than enough but i knew you're just getting started courtney is

47:28us like if you don't want to be there at that time i've never made a big deal out of it

47:44what i mean we were supposed to drive together but calm down we were stop you had a very strict schedule

48:04wild morning at the house travis had to take care of some things with the older kids so then i was
48:11getting nails done breastfeeding getting my hair done getting glam trying to get dressed doing
48:17everything everything it took me i think an hour and a half to drive to kim's graduation stayed there
48:25for an hour and then an hour to drive home that's a lot for me for my day to be away from my baby that
48:31i'm breastfeeding the fact that i got up and got dressed and put on an outfit and made an effort and
48:38went there to support kim that should be enough she's fine she's fine he's gonna be zero to three
48:44yeah zero to three so then i'm in this equation too my kids two and a half so you should get your
48:50ass home shouldn't you i don't need to shouldn't you i'll drop you off we're all very self-submitted
48:57why are we mom shaming i'm with my kids all the time i just want to sit here and enjoy a little cake

49:39all of us prioritize our kids i mean i think that she has this like new lease on life with rocky and
49:46is doing things the way that she wishes she did with no tablets and technology and all the things she
49:51preaches but courtney is just a little bit more distant lately since she got married which is totally
49:58fine and there's no judgment in that but to judge when you're not even around to see i think is
50:04why we have such an issue with it i'm so proud of you your dad would have been really proud of you
50:09thank you i'm usually the type of person where i don't want to celebrate until we get past the
50:15finish line and i pass the bar but i did graduate i had to take the real bar twice and i went to yale
50:22law school it is very very hard i think your dad took it twice really yeah it's tough i don't
50:27think so but i want to like celebrate this move it out of my minority report board and on to pull
50:35up the next thing and that next thing is bar prep i'm so proud of my sister kim she's stuck it out
50:43from start to finish and that's more than what most people can say i think that the legacy that she
51:02is carrying on in her dad's name is so important to her and so important to the family she's doing
51:08this for herself but she's also doing this for her dad and it doesn't hurt that we have a lawyer in
51:13the family i mean we can always use a lawyer it feels so good that like that chapter is done for the
51:25rest of my life six years but we did it we did it never give up guys
