00:01Percy worked hard at the new harbour. The workers needed stone for their building.

00:07Toby helped, but sometimes the loads of stone were too heavy, and Percy had to fetch them for himself.

00:15Sometimes he'd see Thomas.

00:18Well done, Percy. Fat Control is very pleased with us.

00:22An airfield was close by. Percy heard the aeroplane zooming overhead all day.

00:32The noisiest of all was a helicopter.

00:39Stupid thing, said Percy. Why can't it go and buzz somewhere else?

00:45One day, Percy stopped at the airfield.

00:48Hello, said Percy. Who are you?

00:52I'm Harold, said the helicopter. Who are you?

00:55I'm Percy. What whirly great arms you've got.

00:59They're nice arms, said Harold. I could hover like a bird.

01:03Don't you wish you could hover? Certainly not. I like my rails, thank you.

01:08I think railways are slow, said Harold. They're not much use and quite out of date.

01:13He whirled his arms and buzzed away.

03:26Driver carefully checked the train's headlock speed.

03:34They broke down to the main line and halted on the wharf.

03:40Oh dear, groaned Percy.

03:43I'm sure we've lost.

03:45The fireman scrambled to the cab roof.

03:48We've won, we've won, he shouted.

03:51Harold's still hovering.

03:53He's looking for a place to land.

03:55Listen, boys, the fireman called.

04:03Said Harold helicopter to our Percy, you are slow.

04:08The railway is out of date and not the shoot, you know.

04:12But Percy with his stone trucks did the trip in record time.

04:16And we beat the helicopter on our old branch line.

04:21And Percy loved it.

04:22Oh, thank you, he said.

04:24He liked the last find best of all.

04:26And was a very happy engine.
