A state-run horse farm in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region has begun evacuating its remaining thoroughbred and Ukrainian riding horses as Russian forces advance toward the area. Workers say the animals panic under constant shelling, prompting urgent relocation to safer regions, including Mykolaiv. The Novomykolayivka branch now shelters 137 horses, many already displaced from other frontline stud farms.
