In a major breakthrough, the Karnataka Special Investigation Team (SIT) has busted a conspiracy to malign the Dharmasthala temple, terming the 'mass burial' claims as a 'manufactured narrative'. The SIT submitted its findings to the Belthangady court, revealing that accused individuals like Chinnayya and Mahesh Shetty were paid to plant fake evidence, including skulls. Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar welcomed the probe, stating, 'I had openly said in the assembly that there is a conspiracy... ultimately the truth has been prevailed.' India Today's Sagai Raj reports that the SIT seeks custody of the five accused. The investigation revealed that the accused were coached and hand-planted evidence to script a fake story, identifying an 'anti-temple lobby' behind the defamation campaign.

00:38From procured skulls to tutored video statements, the conspiracy trail, according to the SIT, now leads straight to the so-called anti-temple lobby, which they say have been caught red-handed.
00:51The SIT's preliminary conclusion is that the mass burial claim was pure fiction.
00:58And now, with every dot connected, according to the SIT, only on India today, the net is tightening.
01:04The SIT has sought court approval to arrest five accused, with possible arrests expected once permission is granted.

05:14mentioned apart from chinnaya that is Maheshetti Timurodi Girish Pantanavar Sujata Jayant and few
05:20other people who have involved in this particular case and the investigation team the special
05:24investigation team has also requested court to give more time for them to conclude the investigation
