00:12The report runs into 7,000 pages, pertains to the burial case allegations that had come in
00:18and marks the culmination of the SIT investigation.
00:21The submission comes one year after the Karnataka government constituted the SIT to probe the alleged mass burial case.
00:26The court is expected to examine the report and decide on the next course of action.
00:30Remember a masked man, Chinnaya and his wife were also present along with the SIT officers
00:37at the time of the comprehensive report that was submitted.
00:51The huge controversy and the allegations and charges of precisely did a burial or many burials possibly happen

01:04It had led to a lot of outrage, backlash, even a lot of digging had happened in that area.

01:30But clearly, I can tell you it's a big development that a year later, finally, there has been a submission.

01:48and any details yet coming in from your sources and the police about what is mentioned in this report?
01:57It is a crucial report which has been submitted by the Special Investigation Team of Dharmasala Mass Burial Case.
02:04And if you notice that last year, they had submitted a report of 3,922 and this time it is
02:103,082.
02:12So combined together, it closed to 7,005 pages of charge sheet which has been filed by the Special Investigation
02:21Team.
02:21And this also include the skulls which was being found in and around Dharmasala where they have found skulls
02:29and other things which was being found during the exhumation process which was being done in Dharmasala Pramaisas.
02:37Remember, this is one of those biggest cases last year when the infamous masked man has alleged that he has
02:44buried more than hundreds of dead bodies
02:46on the behest of Dharmasala Temple Management.
02:49And after the investigation, now the SIT team have submitted the crucial charge sheet to the court.

03:02As we are looking at these visuals, I remember the kind of controversy that had generated because of this.

03:25How do you think these allegations were picked up by the public, the politicians of Karnataka, Sagai,
03:33just to jog the memory of the viewer?
03:40Absolutely. If you notice that a few leaders within Congress have opposed this particular move of forming an SIT
03:46after the allegations which have been made.
03:49In fact, then Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shukumar went on to say that these kind of things wouldn't have
03:55happened in Dharmasala.
03:56And even if you notice that the BJP took out a pade yatra from Begaluroo till Dharmasala backing them,
04:01stating that whatever the allegations which have been made by a few people,
04:04especially the people in and around Dharmasala and the masked man is far from the truth according to BJP.
04:12And they came out and took out a march from Bengaluru to Dharmasala and they took out a pade yatra.
04:18And remember the infamous masked man who spoke to India Today Exclusive has alleged that he is a person who
04:24has buried hundreds of destroyed bodies
04:26and most of them were girls and he worked on behest of a temple.
04:30And thereafter, when the exhumation process happened in the temple area,
04:35that's when they couldn't find any of those skulls wherever he has buried.
04:39And in fact, he went on to say that Bangalakudde is one of the famous places where he said that
04:44he has buried more than hundreds of dead bodies.
04:47And even at that point of time, when the SIT started to dig and whenever, when they tried to do
04:52the exhumation process,
04:53they were not able to find much of skulls in that place.
04:57So whatever has been recovered so far, everything has been submitted to the court,
05:01the report, the exhumation process and the skulls and other properties which have been found during the entire investigation process.
05:08And when the charge sheet was submitted, the masked man, Chinnaya and his wife were present in the court during
05:15the SP who was submitting the entire 7,500 pages of charge sheet.
