00:00For the first time, in an FIR for the CBI, Disha Salayan's father has mentioned, and these are names categorically
00:09I'm quoting from the FIR,
00:11politician Aditya Thakri, actor Dino Moria, Rhea Chakraborty, and then a partner of Disha, a fiancé also we are told,
00:21Rohan Roy.
00:22Now these are names I'm taking without most responsibility because this is a statement to the CBI.
00:26Disha Salayan's father, Satish Salayan, alleged that his daughter was gang-rabed and murdered.
00:32He named then several people whose roles he wants investigated.
00:36Now remember, I reiterate, these are charges by the father of Disha Salayan.
00:41Investigation and trial later will prove if there is, of course, any truth to these charges.
00:47The FIR, however, lists, and I want to take the names one by one.
00:50Shiv Sana UBT leader, Aditya Thakri, actor Dino Moria, Suraj Pancholi, Rohan Roy, Rhea Chakraborty,
00:56brother Shaobek Chakraborty, former Mumbai police commissioner even, Parambir Singh,
01:02has been mentioned in the FIR, and the dismissed cop Sachin Waze, among others.
01:14The FIR also names Aditya Thakri's bodyguard, so to say, former DCP Vishal Thakur,
01:20also mentioned, and several other police officers.
01:23But the CBI, I reiterate, will investigate allegations of criminal conspiracy and further.
01:29The CBI is looking at propagation of a suicide narrative.
01:34Was it false that was spread about Disha Salayan's death?
01:38Apex probe will also probe alleged suppression, destruction, and fabrication of evidence.
01:50So what is it that the Central Bureau of Investigation will probe with this case of Disha Salayan?
01:55To give you a background, the former manager of actor Sushant Singh Rajput found dead in 2020.
02:01Week later, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead.
02:04That's why this death gains a lot of prominence.
02:06So here's why CBI is going to investigate this case.
02:10Delayed autopsy report.
02:12It will also mention, ladies and gentlemen,
02:14if there was any kind of pressure that was put to delay the autopsy,
02:18the post-mortem for Disha Salayan, alleged suppression of evidence.
02:22This is where Udhav Thakri has been mentioned,
02:25former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has been mentioned,
02:28with the charge, an allegation that they tried to suppress the autopsy findings of the report.
02:33Alleged destruction of evidence is what they are going to look at.
02:37At that point, when the death happened, viewer,
02:40the death didn't really gain a lot of traction in the sense of public domain.
02:45Within the industry, it led a lot of shock.
02:47The CBI was therefore now investigated.
02:50There was a false suicide story or theory that was spread.
02:54Week later, Sushant Singh Rajput also died by suicide as the investigation proceeded.
02:59Now the case is being looked at.
03:01The CBI was the fabrication of an evidence for pro so that it is made to look like a suicide
03:07because the father maintains that she was in fact gang raped and then killed.
03:13And that suicide was just to put forth as an alibi.
03:17This is what the CBI is going to look at.
03:20So then, what is this web of characters?
03:22Who is allegedly involved in this?
03:25I reiterate, these are allegations and charges by the father only.
03:29CBI will investigate further.
03:30But this is huge.
03:32One of the most prominent faces of Maharashtra politics,
03:35the son of Udav Thakre, former CM's son,
03:38Aditya Thakre, who is now the UBT Sena MLA,
03:41his name has dropped up.
03:42He's maintained, he knows nothing about it,
03:44but his name has come for the investigation.
03:46We'll have to find out the truth.
03:48Udav Thakre has been also mentioned in the FIR,
03:51but not as an accused directly,
03:53but of using his power and influence
03:55to delay the autopsy report and tamper with evidence.
03:59Is it because son was involved
04:01or is this a false charge that has been put on him?
04:05Rhea Chakraborty again returns to the headlines
04:08with regard to how earlier she was mentioned
04:10as Sushant Singh Rajput's partner then
04:13and now again if there was any pressure
04:15that she had put on Disha Salian of any kind.
04:18So, Shaovic Chakraborty is Rhea Chakraborty's brother.
04:22All of this is a reason that these names have come forth
04:25and I'll tell you why.
04:26Suraj Pancholi actor,
04:28sadly another controversy for Suraj Pancholi
04:31we've seen earlier as well.
04:32Another actress was connected to him
04:35and then the death that brought Suraj Pancholi
04:39in the trial stage again.
04:41Dino Moria has been a popular actor
04:43in the past two to three decades.
04:46He's also been named in the FIR.
04:48These names have come in, viewer,
04:50because there was a party,
04:52a gathering that was organised
04:53and that they were present in a certain party
04:56and that is why it's going to be discussed
04:58what happened there,
04:59did they know Disha Salian personally.
05:01Former cop Sachin Wazir has been named in the FIR
05:04but the fact that he was dismissed
05:06and removed from the service,
05:08allegations against him already.
05:09Parambi Singh, a very popular name again.
05:12A Mumbai top cop, led the Mumbai police.
05:14His name had been coming up
05:15in different investigations earlier
05:16but these names have come in again
05:19of Anil Deshmukh's former Home Minister of Maharashtra
05:22not directly as accused in the murder.
05:24I want to reiterate the charge against them is
05:26that they delayed autopsy
05:28or there was pressure to evade the accused,
05:32not get the accused arrested.
05:33The suspects who've been mentioned by the father now,
05:37they could have been arrested already.
05:38They didn't face a jail term of any kind
05:42because of the influencing people
05:45right around, rallying around those individuals.
05:48So that is what happened basically in this case.
05:51Big names ladies and gentlemen.
05:53This is not ordinary.
