00:00Well, this is a day in which my pride to be Prime Minister of Australia has never been
00:18greater. This is world leading. This is Australia showing enough is enough. And the world, including
00:29through, I note, some leading media global organisations who are here, just to confirm
00:37is watching, is watching and is following. But Australia is leading. And it's leading
00:45not because of actions of my government. It is leading because of some of the heroes
00:52who are behind me and who are joining us here today. This is indeed a proud day to
01:00be Australian. Because make no mistake, this reform will change lives. For Australian kids
01:09and allowing them to just have their childhood. For Australian parents, enabling them to have
01:17greater peace of mind. But also for the global community who are looking at Australia and
01:25saying, well, if Australia can do it, why can't we?
01:30We deserve time with real people to learn body language, tone, empathy and all the social cues
01:35you can't get from a screen. We also deserve boredom too. Because boredom is what makes our
01:42friends spark creativity and think of big ideas. Australia, a continent so far away and now
01:51yet so far ahead when it comes to online safety. December 10 will be remembered as a moment that
01:58sparked a movement.
02:12a movement of no doubt about that.
02:13in том, world of a global community. And we can't get that many of them yet. And now
02:15of course, we can have to say, well, try to think of you. We're not, how we are.
02:18in terms of ordinary people of a global community. We need to learn how we can manage your
02:21power to help you. And then we're in terms of what we have for the working
02:21of our community. We are from a global community who are going
02:23to help you, and it's what we need to do to learn, how we can manage your
02:24to live in our lives. We are going to learn about this now. So we are also going to
02:27to just find ourselves a place that we can bring back together. We are going to
02:28to learn how we have a world of a community. We are going to be able to learn a world
