Initial Scouting and Planning: Scouts report enemy camps guarding the approach to the "ring of metal." The War-chief decides to first eliminate these camps to ensure a stealthy approach to the main base. Aloy offers to take out the alarms, and brave Nora warriors are dispatched to each camp to assist.
Approaching the "Ring of Metal": After dealing with the camps, the Nora forces prepare to assault the "ring of metal," which has high walls. Aloy proposes a different strategy, offering to go in alone to exploit a weakness in the base. Her goal is to create a large breach in the walls for the entire war party to charge through. Varl is assigned to accompany Aloy as her "spear mate."
Executing the Breach: Aloy identifies a covered shelter filled with "blaze" (an explosive substance) near corruptors within the enemy base. Her plan is to set off the blaze to destroy the corruptors and collapse a section of the wall, creating a breach. Varl goes back to inform Sona and lead the Nora forces to that side of the ring, while Aloy prepares to trigger the explosion.
Victory and Celebration: After Aloy successfully creates the breach, the Nora achieve victory, and the War-chief declares it a day to remember, signifying that "a debt of blood is paid."
