00:30The Commission on Elections, or COMELEC, is waiting for the response of Senator Rodante Marcoleta in relation to the show cost order which was issued against him.
00:40The senator is being questioned for the alleged disconfirmity between his statement of assets, liabilities, and net worth, or SALEN, and statement of contribution and expenditures, or SOCE, in the 2025 midterm elections.
00:53In a COMELEC report, his campaign expenditures came to 112 million pesos, higher than the more than 50 million pesos he declared in his SALEN.
01:01He could be charged with election offense, perjury, and falsification of public documents if the senator is provided with violations.

01:30According to the poll body, some DPWH contractors have responded to the show cost orders issued recently by the agency's political finance and affairs department.
01:41This is related to the alleged donations to some candidates during the 2022 elections.
01:47It is clear that the law strictly prohibits the government contract companies from government to make donations to running candidates to avoid conflict of interest.
01:55The poll body is expected to issue a show cost order to contractors from the 31 DPWH contractors who can be been proven to have given donations to running candidates.
02:05Gusto ko lang din po i-confirm na natanggap na rin po ng political finance and affairs department nung nakaraang biyernis lamang ang sertifikasyon naman doon sa 31 na mga contractors na maaaring public works contractors na nagbigay, nagdonate, nagcontribute sa mga kandidato ng 2025 naman.
02:26Meanwhile, aside from the Bangsamoro elections, COMELEC's priority is also to resolve some pending cases, especially the disqualification cases before the year ends.
