00:09The inaugural Lung Air chartered flight landed at Kuching International Airport
00:13at 12.15pm on Tuesday with 85 passengers,
00:18who were given a traditional welcome by the Sarawak Tourism Board and other state agencies.

00:29said the flight was scheduled to fly weekly every Tuesday,
00:33departing Shenzhen at 8.20am and Kuching at 7.55pm.
00:38But once you have direct flights, I think more people will be encouraged to travel,

00:46And we hope that STB and also MOTEC can help us to do more vigorous promotion in China,

01:17Wong also said Lung Air had given verbal indication of its plans
01:21to introduce direct flights from Hangzhou and Guangzhou to Kuching starting in March next year.
01:27He said this would improve connectivity between Sarawak and China,
01:31spurring tourism and economic ties.

01:39welcomed the flight as a positive move for connectivity and mobility,
