00:00Thank you very much.
00:30Right here.
00:31The President is the most prestigious panel in Merida Park.
00:35You are posting on the same list, first president,
00:38and you have to visit the first meeting
00:41and also the chairman of the United States.
00:43The President is very exciting to be chairman,
00:44but maybe more important,
00:46saving this incredible structure and building and concept.
00:50And it's done so well and it's really great.
00:52And it's about money to unite for building this out.
00:56And we're cherished overall.
00:58And what really happens is that you see the way it's been received,
01:03like it's never been before.
01:05And this building is going to be brought back to life
01:09when it started.
01:11And it'll be better than it was from day one.
01:13The United States represents storytelling
01:15of American legends.
01:18What do these honorees are going to sign people's friends?
01:21The President is a group that's really busy meeting.
01:25I think it's one of the over the years I've been watching.
01:29We've had some wonderful honorees,
01:31but I think this is a very, very much of my parallel.
01:34So we'll see how it turns out.
01:36I think it's going to be great to meet you.
01:37First of all, Melania,
01:38can I ask you about your opportunity to be free together?
01:40Can you tell us anything about that?
01:42Well, I mean, you are bringing back the capital in Washington, D.C.
01:47If you look back a year ago, it was a very unsafe place.
02:02Beautiful, but unsafe.
02:04But it wasn't properly kept.
02:06I mean, you are bringing back the capital in Washington, D.C.
02:09Now it's a very good condition, and as you know,
02:21partners have gone down to a lot of the numbers
02:24that we've seen every year, so we're very proud of it.
02:26Thank you very much.
02:27What do you want to say, Senator Trump?
02:31Any senator's impression?
02:33Say it.
02:34Do you mean the senator will let any of the statements from Trump?
02:36I don't know. I hear that, but I don't know.
02:39It's not up to me. That's up to the board.
02:40The board makes that decision.
02:42I have a very prestigious board.
02:44If you look at the names, I don't think there's a board like it.
02:47So that would be up to the board.
02:49Can you say it?
02:52The board involves a question?
02:54Well, I think it may be 9,000.
02:56This is about the Kennedy Senate.
02:59What about the general process?
03:02Well, that's got to go through a process,
03:04and we'll see what happens.
03:06The President is a great company.
03:07They've done a phenomenal job.
03:09Ted is a fantastic man.
03:11I have a lot of respect for him.
03:12But it's a lot of market share,
03:15so we'll have to see what happens.
03:16The Pressure, who's on here at this convention?
03:20I looked at a list and I can't tell you that yet,
03:23but a lot of people want to be on my list.
03:26You'd like to be on the list.
03:27The Pressure, I don't know about that.
03:28I have a question for you, Mr. President.
03:30How are you prepared to pull each of them?
03:33Well, maybe I haven't prepared.
03:35Maybe you want to be a little bit loose.
03:38If you look at the great hosts, Johnny Carson, Bob Hope.
03:42Those are the greats.
03:44If you look at the not-so-greats, like Jimmy Kimmel,
03:46who is just terrible.
03:48But, no, I think you want to be just loose.
03:52Not a lot to prepare for, really.
03:54You know what you have to be?
03:55You have to be yourself.
03:57The Pressure, I've been asking your captain tonight,
03:58is this going to be more Johnny Carson or Don Rambo?
04:01Well, Don- I know both, and they were both great guys
04:04and friends of mine.
04:06They're both difficult.
04:07They're difficult, but great.
04:10I was really very close to both of them.
04:13You can't compare them.
04:14They were very different.
04:15But Johnny Carson for hosting was top of the line.
04:20President Trump, Jesse Waters has a question for you.
04:23What was your favorite moment of 2025 in a year?
04:27I think when Jesse Waters interviewed me.
04:30It was such a phenomenal interview.
04:34He's a great guy, and you're a great guy.
04:35You're doing a very good job out there.
04:37I'm proud of you.
04:38The Pressure, thank you so much, President Trump.
04:39Who is on your audience this year?
04:42Oh, that's a long list.
04:45I better not tell you it's a problem out there in the world.
04:48No, we have a pretty big naughty list,
04:51but our country is doing well.
04:53We're the hottest country anywhere in the world right now.
04:56And a year ago, we were a dead country.
04:58We're a dead country that was laughed at all over the world.
05:00We're the hottest country in the world.
05:02And Jesse Waters is terrific.
05:04The Pressure, what do you think,
05:05Mr. President, of the Supreme Court
05:07overturning your authority on tariffs versus the authority?
05:12What would be the intention of the economy in the country?
05:14The President Trump has a right to go a different form of tariffs.
05:16We have a right to go licensing.
05:18We have a right to go other ways.
05:20But the form of tariffing, as we call it,
05:24the form of the current form of tariffing,
05:26that's before the court,
05:27gives us a great national security, more than anything else,
05:30because it allows the President to act quickly
05:32and effectively, swiftly, and make a decision.
05:36And as you know, I ended eight wars.
05:39We tried to end it in ninth,
05:40but we thought this would be maybe one of the easier ones.
05:43We just did Rwanda and Congo.
05:46And that was going on for 30 years.
05:49Russia and Ukraine, I thought,
05:50it was going to be a little bit easier,
05:51but it's not being made easy.
05:54It's a very tough war, very nasty.
05:55Twenty-seven thousand people died last month,
05:58mostly soldiers.
06:00I will say that all I really think
06:04this is really a night of joy tonight
06:06because of what's happening with this building.
06:07It's going to be fantastic when you see the end product.
06:10It's going to be better than it was built.
06:12I think we'll celebrate that.
06:14But I will say that our country is doing really well.
06:16The Press Press.
06:17The Press Press.
06:19The Press Press.
06:20The Press Press Press, sir, about using the tariffs,
06:21the revenue for a dividend,
06:24saying we should be paying down the national debt.
06:25The President Trump, I agree with him on that.
06:27But I also think that, you know,
06:28we're making so much money with tariffs
06:30that we'll also be able to make a nice dividend
06:32to middle-income people.
06:34We're talking about middle-income and lower-income people.
06:36We're not talking about dividends to rich people.
06:39But there's so much money being made through the tariffs
06:43and countries that were taking advantage of us
06:45for many, many years are not taking advantage of us anymore.
06:48We're taking in tremendous amounts of money
06:50from countries that we were losing lots of money to.
06:53And you know what? They're okay with it.
06:55They're not complaining.
06:56They're not complaining about the tariffs.
06:57And rather than Apple,
06:59but they're not saying there's anything wrong.
07:01And the big thing is, in the court,
07:04we have tremendous flexibility with the current system.
07:08It's unbelievable for national security.
07:10I've been in eight wars,
07:12largely because of trade and because of tariffs.
07:15If we go the other tariff route,
07:17and there are other routes we can go,
07:19but it won't give you the same pure national security as this one.
07:23This one is swift and very powerful.
07:25The Press Press, what's the next step in Russia
07:28if Ukraine talks out?
07:29What's your next step in Ukraine talks out?
07:32The President Trump,
07:32so we've been speaking to President Putin,
07:34and we've been speaking to Ukrainian leaders,
07:37including Zelenskyy, President Zelenskyy.
07:41And I have to say that I'm a little bit disappointed
07:44that President Zelenskyy hasn't yet read the proposal.
07:47That was as of a few hours ago.
07:49His people love it, but he hasn't.
07:52Russia's fine with it.
07:53Russia's, you know, Russia,
07:55Russia, I guess, would rather have the whole country.
07:58Wouldn't you think of it?
07:59But Russia is, I believe, fine with it,
08:03but I'm not sure that Zelenskyy is right with it.
08:05His people love it, but he hasn't read it.
08:10So, someday, he'll explain that one to me, Jack.
08:12President Trump,
