00:00It was sort of like overnight, really.
00:02We were sort of recognised everywhere we went.
00:04It was autographs back in the day then, now it's selfies, obviously.
00:08We opened shopping centres.
00:11We were like, take that back in the day.
00:12What I love is just two girls from Islington completely phoning at the deep end
00:17and doing it together, which is nice.
00:20In 2021, when she was 62, Pauline was diagnosed with dementia.
00:25Earlier this year, her family shared the news.
00:28You've seen Pauline quite recently?
00:30Yeah, probably about three or four weeks ago.
00:33We went to a little restaurant and it was lovely.
00:35I was so happy because she was happy.
00:38And she just was giggling and just really enjoying it.
00:41And she ate everything as well, didn't she?
00:43She enjoyed her food.
00:45Yeah, it was good.
00:45Yeah, it was. It was lovely.
00:47So I left there happy because I knew she was happy
00:49and I knew they were looking after her really well.
00:52What do you make of what Charlie's about to embark on?
00:55We love Charlie, honestly.
00:56I've known him since he was in the womb, really.
00:59So, yeah, he's a good boy.
01:01There's so many people now that get dementia.
01:03My mum, for instance, she had it really, really bad.
01:06It's the worst thing ever, I think.
01:08You've got to raise awareness for it.
01:10You know, this trek is about the history of my mum's career and her life
01:13and it's just nice to be here with Lynn
01:14and, you know, get the ball rolling on the trek and memories and stuff.
01:17There we go.
