00:00Yeah, we're going to start with a jet, if you can believe it.
00:03Adonai Mitchell, AD Mitchell coming off a huge game last week.
00:07And I understand, you know, people's hesitancy with AD Mitchell,
00:10but he's still floating around in a lot of leagues,
00:12coming off a game where he had 12 targets,
00:14eight catches for 102 and a touchdown against the Atlanta Falcons.
00:17Now, he has seen steady target volume for Terod Taylor
00:20since Taylor took over at QB,
00:22and the Jets have made their changes at the break.
00:24So you've seen six targets, seven targets, 12 targets.
00:27The problem is, in the first two games, you only caught three balls.
00:30So is this a matter of them just getting on the same page,
00:33or is this just AD Mitchell yet again,
00:35being a guy who has got a lot of moves and a lot of speed
00:38and a lot of athleticism, but not a lot of hands
00:40and not a lot of wide receiver technique?
00:41You can have that conversation, and I think it's valid.
00:44But the conversation I'm going to have this week as a streamer
00:46is he's playing the Dolphins.
00:48And if you look at that and what Devon Vele did last week,
00:51well, we just talked about the big explosive plays he had.
00:54I think it bears notice.
00:55Now, if you also look ahead, we talked about CeeDee Lamb earlier in the show
00:59when we started and saying, well, what do you do when you have some of these guys here,
01:03when you have CeeDee Lamb maybe missing that first week
01:04and you have to play him in the playoffs, you can't.
01:07AD Mitchell has a good schedule.
01:08He's got Miami, Jacksonville, New Orleans the next three weeks.
01:11Championship week would be against New England.
01:13The next couple of weeks for AD Mitchell are actually pretty good.
01:15So I think he's worth rostering.
01:17As you can see right now, he is available in almost 70% of leagues.
01:20I would pick him up.
01:21Even if you stop somebody else from picking him up,
01:24that would be a good move.
01:26And I really like the practice of looking ahead at a player's upcoming games.
01:30It's something that we should normalize, I think.
01:32All right.
01:32So let's move away from an offense like the Jets.
01:36Do you have a player that's involved in an offense that's actually putting up points,
01:40an offense that's competitive?
01:41Yeah, look, Blake Corum is part of a backfield with Kyron Williams.
01:45And there were reports this week that, you know, not only did Kyron Williams say an injury last week,
01:49but he's going to play this week, that they also want to back off Kyron a little bit
01:52and save him, quote unquote, for the playoffs.
01:54Not your fantasy playoffs, the real playoffs.
01:57And I understand why.
01:58Anyway, that resulted last week in Blake Corum having a season-high 81 yards on the ground
02:03and a touchdown, right?
02:04So it was a good game for Blake Corum.
02:06He gets Arizona this week, Detroit, then Seattle.
02:08So a couple tough matchups there coming up for him.
02:12And then Atlanta in the championship week.
02:14So I think here's my two cents with Corum.
02:17He shouldn't be out there on the waiver wire.
02:19Because if you have Kyron Williams, he's a must-have insurance policy.
02:22If you don't have Kyron Williams and one of your opponents does,
02:24and you've got Corum on the bench, and then Kyron has some other injury or some other issue happen,
02:28and they pivot to Corum, you all of a sudden just bought yourself a low-end RB1
02:32in that Rams offense for nothing.
02:34So he needs to be on rosters.
02:36He's only 30, what, 33% roster, a third of leagues.
02:40That's absurd.
02:41This is that time of year where you have to have some of those backup running backs
02:43in premium situations, and you've seen Corum perform just as early as last week
02:49that he could take over that workload and be great.
02:51And that is something that doesn't happen in every single backfield.
02:54So, again, I will be putting Blake Corum in there.
02:58And you can even, like, you know, sneak Singletary through the waiver wire too
03:01based on Tyrone Tracy's injury, but that doesn't seem to be as bad
03:04as everybody thought in the meantime.
