00:00Let's go with two teams that I think, you know, offensive lines may be a big question for these teams' schedule as well, at least for one.
00:08It's Malik Neighbors. He's the one for the Giants. He's ADP at 12, wide receiver 6.
00:13Or Nico Collins for Houston, ADP of 13, wide receiver 7.
00:16Joe, who would you rather?
00:18Well, I think you put it perfectly because neither scenario is perfect, right?
00:22Offensive lines have some issues here, especially the Texans, but they've always had issues.
00:26They've had issues since C.J. Stroud came into the league.
00:28I think, is it worse? Maybe, but it's never been really good, so I guess we can just say there's still upside for him to be good.
00:36And if you look at last year, Nico Collins was having a great season, despite a woeful offensive line anyway, before injury, unfortunately, took him out.
00:44Malik Neighbors on the other side here, you know, the problem with Malik was also missed a little bit of time with injury, but really, who's playing quarterback?
00:50That's the big question. What does it look like, and how many times does it change? Is it Wilson?
00:53How long is it Wilson? Is it going to be Jackson Dart at some point? Probably.
00:57Well, Jameis Winston makes some starts. Inevitably, it just seems to be something that's going to happen at some point.
01:02But I think for me, if I'm swinging for the fences, it's Malik Neighbors, because I do think there's an upside opportunity where he finishes potentially as a top five wide receiver.
01:11And I don't know if Nico has that potential.
01:14I think Malik Neighbors is just a tick above in talent.
01:18So if both situations have questions around them, I want the guy with the special talent that I think could possibly make that leap into that elite tier.
01:26And as good as Nico is, and he's a round one caliber wide receiver, somebody that I said was a round one caliber wide receiver last year, but people weren't drafting him as such.
01:34Another guy who could jump a tier, right?
01:37And Nico was a tier jumper last year.
01:38He was right at the end of wide receiver one, beginning of two, but he played like a one.
01:42I think Malik Neighbors is the way I would go.
01:44Matt, how about you?
01:45Neighbors or Collins, which way would you go?
01:48So the question comes down to the quarterback who's throwing the ball.
01:50And I think I know that it's Stroud.
01:53Devil you know is better than devil you don't.
01:54So I think I'm going to lean Collins here just based on that.
01:57And I also wonder if teams start to double Neighbors, what are the Giants going to do?
02:01All right, let's move on here.
02:02We're going to still talk wide receivers.
02:04And boy, we go to a team whose culture, the culture of the team is the question.
02:09I know who's throwing the football.
02:10I know his speed.
02:11But here's Tyreek Hill, ADP 29, wide receiver 12, or Jackson, Smith, and Jigba.
02:17And now we have a different situation with throwing the football.
02:20He's an ADP 30, a wide receiver 13.
02:22So, Joe, I think this comes down to familiarity with name.
02:25I think the casual viewer or fan is just going to see Hill's name speed to a Dolphins.
02:30I'm going to take him.
02:30But I want to hear from you.
02:32I'm curious.
02:34This is a very tricky one.
02:35A lot of this has to do with the build of your roster when you get to this point, right?
02:38So, we're in ADP 29.
02:40So, we're looking around the third round here.
02:42And if I've got two lockdown guys in the first two rounds I feel great about, then I'm probably
02:46going to roll the dice with Tyreek Hill.
02:48Because the upside of Tyreek Hill, two years prior for two straight years, was 1,700 yards
02:53and a bunch of touchdowns.
02:54And he does have two at Tungabailoa.
02:56And it is the same offense.
02:57Is it the same Tyreek Hill?
02:58That's a fair question to ask.
03:00And I don't think any of us are going to know that answer until we get onto the field in
03:03week one.
03:04But I think the home run swing, the league winning swing is Tyreek Hill.
03:08In 10 team leagues, I'm more apt to do it too because the replacement value is easier,
03:12right?
03:12I'm going to have more depth at wide receiver to choose from to back it up.
03:15If I don't love the way the first two rounds are going, the safer play is JSN.
03:20And again, I don't love Sam Darnold either.
03:23But JSN has shown you last year that he was ready to be a wide receiver one at fantasy.
03:27So I think that's kind of how I look at this one.
03:30It's very circumstantial.
03:31The home run swing of like, hey, I'm doing, look, I did a mock the other day on Fantasy
03:35Pros where I started Jamar Chase and the second player I got was Lad McConkie and the third
03:40player I got was Tyreek Hill.
03:42And that's going to be a pretty tough team to stop if everybody plays up to their expectations.
03:46So again, sometimes you got to swing for the fences.
03:49Tyreek Hill is that home run swing.
