00:53I didn't know what that meant at the time.

01:07We currently live in a small condo.
01:10At some point, you have more friends than square footage.
01:13And we've had a boat for several years now.
01:15We got the boat before the lakefront property.
01:18So not an ideal sitch.
01:20Now we're at the point in our lives where we want to combine all our passions into one.
01:23And make this exactly the life we're looking to live.
01:26On my wish list would be a walkout from the bedroom.
01:29We definitely want the nice kitchen.
01:31We don't cook.
01:32No.
01:33Cooking is the last thing I want to be doing.
01:34Our kitchen is much more about entertaining than it is for any cooking.
01:40I'm a competitive swimmer and I think that easy access to the water is also key.
01:44Ideally, it's got a lot of landscaping already done so that I don't have to do it myself.

02:54Skylights, floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood floors, gas fireplace.
02:58And they've got a gorgeous spiral staircase that takes you downstairs and to the water.
03:03I love that there's a gas fireplace because it's definitely easier to maintain than it would burning.

03:10The browns and the yellows on the wall are really not working for me though.
03:14The bones are there and this view is hard to beat.
03:17The kitchen is going to be the heart of the home, so let's go take a look at that.
03:22Now this is a really cool space.
03:24They say the kitchen is the center of the home and in this home it truly is.
03:28We can definitely fit a lot of our friends and family and still have access to all the other rooms.
03:32We've got granite countertops and that really neat curved countertop, built-in appliances and you've got this direct access to the heated covered deck.
03:40You've got the great room over there, den over there.
03:42The dining room right now is set up for about six people, but you could fit 15 to 20 people.
03:47The layout is perfect for entertaining.
03:50The access to the great room is perfect.
03:52I just imagine a bottle of champagne sitting in that prep sink and just grabbing it as I go.
03:55I love the fact that there's a commercial grade fridge and a commercial grade freezer.
03:59I'm not loving everything about this kitchen though.
04:01I really don't like the flooring against the pale woods.
04:05As long as you like the space, the rest is pretty easy to do.
04:08I want to show you guys the primary bedroom.
04:09Let's go have a look.
04:12The views really don't stop.
04:14And more unique features.
04:16Welcome to the primary bedroom.
04:17There's a sunken sitting area with a gas fireplace, a huge walk-in closet and I've got direct access to the deck.
04:24I'm really surprised at how big this room is and the walkout is just to die for.
04:28Once we give it a coat of paint, remove the carpets, it'd definitely be our own.
04:32Let's go check out the en suite.
04:35Okay.
04:36This is a five-piece en suite.
04:37Double vanities, double shower heads and you've got the sunken tub.
04:41I love having the double vanity, but the flooring, countertops and the cabinets could use a little bit of work.
04:47Like the rest of the house, there's things you can do in here to truly make it your own.
04:51But I want to show you the waterfront.
04:52The entertaining space continues out here.
04:55You've got multi-tiered, maintenance-free decking.
04:57We're sitting on almost one and a half acres.
04:59Glass railing, so your views are totally unobstructed.
05:02This is definitely selling the house.

05:18As you know, we have a boat.
05:20Is there a dock?
05:21So there's no dock right now.
05:22There is direct access into the water.
05:24I think we have to factor that into the equation.
05:27Why don't we go inside and talk about what we've seen today?
05:30Calvin, Justin, I showed you a very unique property.
05:335,000 square feet on 200 feet of waterfront with four bedrooms and four bathrooms.
05:38The price of this home is $3.9 million.
05:42I think that's probably what we would have expected.
05:44Walking into the house and having that vantage point from up top was beautiful.
05:48The only thing about the great room is that it doesn't really match our style with some
05:51of the paint colors chosen.
05:52Walking into the kitchen, you realize that you're really in the heart of the house.
05:55But it doesn't really match our aesthetics.
05:57When it comes to the primary bedroom, I just couldn't get over the size.
06:00But the ensuite needs some updating.
06:03And then when you took us outside, everything that we had seen and not liked from the inside
06:07just kind of vanished.
06:09That being said, one of our wish list items was to have a dock right on the water.
06:13I think in our next one, we're probably looking for something a little bit more sleek and modern.
06:17And we definitely need a dock.

06:22Today's home definitely hit the mark for the entertainment criteria.
06:25It just maybe is too much work for what we're willing to put in right now.

08:03What a clean, modern kitchen.
08:06This is going to be the perfect place to entertain.
08:08Textured quartz countertops, waterfall island, modern-style cabinets accented with the gold
08:14hardware, and the fridge and the dishwasher are both paneled.
08:18The dining room currently is set up to seat eight people, but you could easily have 12
08:21or 15 there, and you've got that beautiful black picture frame window that just gives
08:26you those gorgeous views all day long.
08:28I love the huge island where our friends and family can just gather around.
08:32Definitely a great spot to hang out.
08:33I love that all of the cabinetry is sleek.
08:37We can't even see any appliances, but I wish I could spend more time looking at the water
08:41from the kitchen rather than the dining room.
08:43I've never had people so interested in the kitchen who don't even cook.
08:47I know it's weird, but this is exactly where we want to do all the entertaining that we
08:51can.

08:57Pretty room and a good size, too.
08:59This is a great size room, and of course, you've got another great view of the waterfront.
09:04So I would have loved to have this room maybe designed a little differently so that I could
09:07wake up each morning looking straight out into the water.
09:09I mean, you could reconfigure the room and have the bed here, but you probably wouldn't
09:13be able to fit much more than a queen-size bed.
09:15I want to show you guys the ensuite as well.

09:20I can tell by the look on your faces, it's not exactly what you were picturing, but you've
09:24got the double sinks, water closet, and you've got this soaker tub that overlooks the water.
09:29It's going to be a lot of work to change this whole bathroom.
09:31There's always one room in the house that isn't going to be perfect.
09:33There is, however, one other room I want to show you.
09:35Wow, this is truly spectacular.

09:42We've got vaulted ceilings in this porch with exposed cedar beams, a beautiful gas fireplace
09:47accented with a stone wall, and of course, everything overlooks the backyard.

10:33is $4.6 million.
10:35This house is much more up-to-date than the previous one that we saw.
10:38And considering that the grounds are bigger, this definitely makes sense.
10:42I was surprised that when we walked in, there were two great rooms.
10:45The ceiling was so large and provided a ton of space and a lot of light.
10:49I definitely loved the gas fireplace.
10:51Walking into the kitchen, I loved all of the cabinetry.
10:53The white really shines.
10:54I would have preferred the kitchen being where the dining room is
10:57so that I could be at my sink and look out and see the water.
10:59The primary bedroom, the orientation of the bed kind of threw us off.
11:03The ensuite, I really wish we had a turnkey solution in that bathroom.
11:06Walking out into the backyard and into that screened-in porch, wow.
11:09I love that this property has a pool.
11:11I can see myself using it on a daily basis,
11:13and I love the fact that there was not only one dock, but two.

11:24And we'd also love a fully renovated en-suite.
11:27We really loved the property today,

12:56Yeah, these are spectacular windows.
12:58There's built-in speakers in the ceiling, custom placer, fireplace mantel.

13:29The 15-foot island has the butcher blocks at the end,
13:32which don't just look good, but they're actually functional.
13:35There's a paneled fridge, a coffee bar.
13:37One of the other nice features about this home is the buffet section over there.
13:41And, Justin, if you want to pull that top drawer open,
13:43I think you'll like what you see inside of that.
13:46It's a built-in fridge.
13:48And there's actually two of those drawers.
13:50Calvin, I know you really wanted to be at the sink and looking at the water.
13:54This home allows you to do that.
13:56Well, you've certainly been listening and taking notes
13:58because this is everything that we've been asking for.

14:03it makes for a really unique style in kitchen.
14:05While I don't cook, I am loving this commercial-grade oven and stove top.
14:10I can see our friends coming over and definitely having a great time.

14:25but the owners kept this original 1960s staircase.
14:28Now, it's not spiral,
14:29but as you can see, the entire staircase is suspended into the ceiling.
14:34This is pretty amazing.
14:35I can see why the owners kept it.

14:41They've got a gas fireplace with a marble surround.
14:43We also have direct access to your own private deck.
14:46I'm excited about the fact that when we wake up,

14:58the owners opted for a walk-through closet.

15:10double vanity sinks, and a glass shower as well.
15:13The double vanities are exactly what we're looking for.
15:16The steam shower with the marble slabs are also gorgeous.

15:20There's absolutely nothing that we have to do in this piece.

16:09The ensuite, we finally found one that was finished.

18:09When we walked outside, I was absolutely blown away.
18:12The only thing lacking, it was missing a dock.

20:40but for us, it offered all the things
