01:33so 10 cents yes thank you detroit lions i won my 10 cent bet the other day we defeated the dallas

01:43cowboys the cowboys the damn deadwings again of course cost me a dime again they lost to the

01:53columbus blue jackets after i put 10 cents on a money line to win that game so with that out of the way

02:33will be a ball i can guarantee it will be a ball because i'm gonna throw it in the dirt

02:40wmba right the the player that told people i'm going to leave the next game early due to injury

02:52this some of this if not all that can be worked around and that's what i want to talk about so

03:03we don't ruin the sport and we don't ruin the betting we remove incentive by making it

03:10more difficult if we eliminate uh a pitch the next pitch will be a ball or a strike how about

03:22balls and strikes average per inning does it matter how short

03:31how little time the pitchers in the game how much time the pitchers in the game if it's based on

03:40averages what are his balls and strikes averages per inning in this game minimum two innings pitched

03:49that solves the problem for the most part yeah now he's really throwing a game if he's

03:59throwing pun intended pitches right oh my average will be more ball more balls than strikes well he's

04:10really gonna be putting his team in jeopardy and he may all right make it minimum three innings pitched

04:19well it won't last three innings if he keeps throwing a bunch of balls he's gonna be yanked out of that

04:27game so we're talking realistic doable probabilities in betting then and realistic outcomes less chances

04:38for manipulation not eliminating manipulation entirely in potential for fraud but reduces it

04:47we can reduce the odds again we're talking betting pun intended

05:39minimum two quarters so you've got two and part of a quarter to determine an average points per quarter

05:50average or points right that's better than points per game because again oh if i leave in the first

05:58quarter i'm not gonna make that over on points per game i'm not gonna be in the game for four quarters

06:06to get anywhere close to that so points per quarter average or points per five minutes i i would say i'd be

06:16right points per minute average but then you know we're getting into fractions but that would be

06:22best minimum one quarter played if as long as they play a quarter then we've got a reasonable sum to say

06:33okay x number of points divided by x number of minutes points per minute average whether they play

06:44one or four quarters what's the average over under greatly reduces chances at manipulation it doesn't

06:55eliminate it but greatly reduces right because if the guy keeps throwing bricks on purpose he's gonna be

07:04yanked from the game in less than a quarter he's gonna be benched for the second third and fourth quarters

07:14if he's throwing bricks to purposely lower his points per average game he won't be in enough time to

07:24qualify for the stats to even register for the bet to be even valid for people to have a rigged under

07:33opportunity anyway i've just thought i'd throw out some potential easy common sense

07:43easy to do solutions that would help not fix the problem not eliminate the problem you're never going to

07:53eliminate fraud and whatnot and people trying to manipulate things but if you stick to money line and you know

08:04points uh uh the cowboys plus one and one point five at the lions game

08:13well if you chose that one you lost you lost but i kind of thought that game would be closer like the odds makers did

08:22the lions like the red san jose sharks have the red wings number not always but a lot of the times

08:32remember back when the red wings were a dynasty and the juggernaut and the president's trophy winner

08:39and the odds on favor to win the stanley cup and the eighth seed san jose sharks knock them out in the first

08:47round the sharks often have the red wings number while the lions no matter how bad our teams have been

08:56over the year and the cowboys up and down both good and bad the lions have often had the cowboys number

10:18taken dallas plus four and a half i would have lost but again i was expecting okay lions to win by a

10:26field goal i would have taken dallas 4.5 plus 4.5 at any rate but thankfully yes i took the lions money

10:36line thank you lions i won that 10 cent bet i did at 14 cents or whatever it was but on disability i don't

10:48have money to piss away on gambling so but to make it fun yeah i have an account and i'll bet 10 cents here

10:58and there on games in different sports i used to love to go to the casino and play blackjack certainly

11:06can't do that anymore just don't have the money if you don't have the money don't be playing

11:14gamble responsibly as the saying goes right that's why i only make 10 cent bets

11:21anyway i wanted common sense potential solutions to at least get the discussion started

11:30let's talk about these things let's put in common sense things that can help make things better again

11:40not going to fix it never going to eliminate crime criminals cheating manipulation fraud but thank you
