00:00Take a look at the 8 o'clock game tonight in the Big Ten, coach, two undefeated teams are going to square up, number one and number two in the country.
00:06That is Indiana and Ohio State, with Ohio State as a favorite at minus 4.5 and a total at 46.5.
00:13This should be fantastic. Both teams automatically in the college football playoff, but boy, you would love to see Indiana come away with their first Big Ten championship, feels like, in eons, coach.
00:24Well, you know what? And people think, well, Kurt Signetti, he's the young new coach out there against the veteran.
00:30He is a more veteran coach even than getting today. He's been doing this a long time.
00:35And again, he's been a head coach at different levels, but he's been in playoffs.
00:39He is ready for a game like this, and he's a very sharp coach. So it's going to be a great game.
00:44You've got the number one defense at Ohio State against the number two in the nation offense.
00:49You've got two quarterbacks that I think are very similar.
00:52They should balance out against each other. Both of them very, very good.
00:57But I think the difference in this game, as I look at it, I always say, OK, who's got the most veteran NFL talent?
01:04Who's going to put the best football players on the field on the day?
01:09And it's still going to be Ohio State to a degree.
01:11So I think the coaching is good on both sides. The quarterback's going to balance out defense versus offense.
01:16They're both the best at what they do.
01:19But I like the overall talent level. There'll be a player, too, by another guy on Ohio State's team that was one of the top players in the country.
01:27Too much talent on that football team more than Indiana.
01:31Coach, last year, Cignetti lost this game 38-15. Does he learn from that in any way?
01:37Do you think he takes any different types of shots to potentially pull out the Big Ten championship?
01:43Well, he probably learned the minute that game was over, he began to recruit better football players, do a great job in the portal.
01:50Know where he lacked the strength. I think all that stuff had to be done in the preseason.
01:55You can see that he's a better football team. They're better on both sides of the ball.
01:59I mean, Indiana can run. They can throw. They can play defense.
02:02Everything they are doing, they are doing at the optimum level.
02:05So, I think he knew what he had to do, and it's going to come down to now when you're playing a great team, a great team with great skill, can you do it?
02:14Because I guarantee coaching makes a difference, but when it comes down to it, players will win ballgames, players on the field.
02:20And so, I think he'll have everything done that could be done after last year.
02:24He's got a better football team.
02:25He'll have a team that's better able to play better, not better prepared, but better capable of playing with Ohio State.
02:32Coach, answer me this, too. Both of these teams have played 12 games.
02:35Everything is on tape at this point.
02:37What about the significance of the work week this week for both of these teams, putting extra wrinkles maybe in the offense or defense and what that could mean?
02:45You know, that's a great question.
02:46Late in the season, we've all established tendencies.
02:49I mean, you can look at 12 games and you get off computer.
02:52You know exactly what Indiana loves to do on fourth and one on the plus 25-yard line.
02:57You become very, very locked in to what you love to do.
03:01So, the key is to know your own tendencies.
03:03So, when you're playing against a team and you know that you always like to run behind the right tackle every time in this situation, in a big game like this, you run behind the left tackle.
03:12You fake it over the right tackle and you run the naked boot.
03:15So, you can take your own tendencies and you can play with them.
03:19And when they think they know what you're going to do, you do something different.
