00:00Education Minister Fadlina Siddiq appears the most vulnerable figure as Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim prepares to unveil his new cabinet line-up, says political analyst Azmi Hassan of Academy Nusantara.
00:15Azmi said ministers from Pakatan Harapan are most at risk, as Anwar has greater discretion over their appointments.
00:22In contrast, he noted removing ministers from other parties would be difficult, since those parties would want to maintain their quota.
00:31James Chin of the University of Tasmania expects the reshuffle to be more of a modest recalibration than a sweeping overhaul.
00:40He said promotions would not be based on performance alone, since none of the ministers were doing a particularly good job.
00:47Chin identified Transport Minister Lok Siu-fuk as the only senior figure relatively free of controversies, and said Fadlina has long been seen as underperforming.
