00:03President Donald Trump has repeatedly insisted that prices are way down under his administration,

00:08but voters aren't convinced.

00:11A new Fox News poll shows Trump's approval rating at its lowest point since October 2017,

00:17with many Americans blaming him for the country's economic troubles.

00:20According to the survey, only 38% of voters approve of Trump's handling of the economy.

00:26His overall job approval stands at 41%, a five-point decline since Fox News' September poll.

00:33Across most issues, Americans say they disapprove of Trump's performance.

00:37Although Trump earns a 53% approval rating on border security,

00:41he is underperforming on five of the six issues polled.

00:44The same voters who back his border stance say they disapprove of his handling of immigration

00:49and other major issues. Tariffs are especially unpopular,

00:52with approval at only 35% and disapproval at 63%.

00:57Nearly half of voters, 46%, say his economic policies have personally impacted them.

01:06More than 75% of voters say groceries, 85%, and utilities, 78%, cost more than they did a year ago,

01:14with 60% reporting that grocery prices have risen a lot.

01:25Economists attribute part of the rise in U.S. beef prices to Trump's tariffs on imports,

01:33Trump has blamed former President Joe Biden for the economic struggles,

01:37insisting that his tariffs are not the cause.

01:40When voters were questioned about who is responsible for the current economy, 62% blamed Trump,

01:46while 32% pointed to former President Joe Biden.

01:51Our country will boom, but we have to get rid of the Biden overhang.

01:55This will take a while, has nothing to do with tariffs, only that he left us with bad numbers,
