00:00How is there a couch in front of my window? I live in the basement apartment. So there's a

00:04basement and then there's an upstairs. I live in the basement one. So my windows are level to the

00:09ground and that's why they were able to put a couch that's like right outside there. She came

00:13home to find that the neighbors had put their couch in front of her window. This is the window

00:17that would open this side so I could get out if there was a fire in my apartment. Is it blocking

00:22her only fire exit? That wasn't my first issue. The issue with the couch being there for me in

00:28the first place was just that it was blocking the light in my kitchen. And I have lots of plants

00:33as you can see. And I just wanted to make sure that I was getting a lot of natural light because

00:38this is a basement apartment. For being in the basement, her apartment is already dark. So she

00:42relies on the little bit of light coming from that window. And now that her neighbors are constantly

00:47there, she had to make some changes. The reason why I put that film up is because they hang out

00:51out there all the time. I did buy a curtain. So I'll just close it when they're hanging out out

00:56there and then I'll open it for like the natural light when they're not out there.

00:59They turned the outside of her home into their relaxing area.

01:01So this is my window, my kitchen window. And yes, I know you can still see inside a little bit,

01:07but it's better than nothing. And before anyone else, I did buy curtains. I just like the light

01:13that goes in there from that window. So that is my bedroom window. And then this is like the little

01:21cement platform that's outside our apartment. There isn't one on this side. This is the only one we

01:25have. Initially, things were slightly worse. The couch originally was like right here,

01:30but they moved it over a little bit. And before anyone complains and says, that's not enough.
