00:00I just want to pick up on something, Dr. Eli, because Shane mentioned Vladimir Putin's

00:05interview today. He was speaking on India TV. It was a pre-recorded interview he did

00:09in Moscow, and it has gone out. And one of the things that stood out to me in what he

00:14said in this interview was, he also said the U.S. divided its 28-point peace plan into

00:20four sections. And I was thinking, do you think that Ukraine and Russia are looking

00:27at the same peace plan? Because Ukraine right now has a 20-point peace plan. It appears

00:32Russia has a 28-point peace plan. There was a 19-point peace plan. I mean, has everyone

00:40got the same peace plan? Probably not. And going back to what you mentioned very quickly,

00:46now Gaza is solved. Let's move on to Ukraine. Is Gaza solved? No. I know, I know. That's

00:51what I mean. This is the kind of deals that Witkow can come up with. It's a general framework

00:56agreement that is so vague that everyone would accept. But even that vagueness did not help

01:03him out in Ukraine because Europeans came out and said, come on, what you're presenting

01:07is a complete surrender of Ukraine and behind it, Europe, to Putin's will and intentions.

01:15So definitely the 28 plan was rejected by all Europeans, by Ukrainians. So they had to sit

01:19down and actually remove some of the surrender acts that were included for Ukraine. So I don't

01:28think they are looking at the same plan. I don't think they are starting from the same

01:33point. I definitely believe, as Shane said, that Putin wants to end the war on his own terms.

01:41The problem is that Trump made him feel that he can. And that's why he's not willing to

01:47compromise now, currently. And we're seeing him, you know, stand his position even more

01:54firmly in that sense. So unless he feels that Trump is very serious in his pressure, and

02:00he's supporting the Europeans, even partially, we know they don't agree on everything. But

02:05unless Putin, as we keep saying in this show, unless Putin feels the pressure, he will not be

02:11willing to compromise on any of his position.
