"I've been getting online bullied and in public by people for 9 months," the 'Saturday Night Live' star wrote in an emotional statement on Instagram.

00:00Pete Davidson is calling out his bullies. The Saturday Night Live star took to Instagram
00:04to shed more light on his mental health struggles and address the bullying he's experienced this year.
00:09The comedian recently returned to social media after an extended hiatus.
00:13On Monday, he shared a lengthy emotional message on his Instagram page.
00:17Davidson wrote,
00:30Especially in today's climate, when everyone loves to be offended and upset, is truly mind-boggling.
00:35He continued,
00:36I've been getting online bullied and in public by people for nine months.
00:40I've spoken about borderline personality disorder and being suicidal publicly only in the hopes that it will help bring awareness
00:45and help kids like myself who don't want to be on this earth.
00:49Davidson has been vocal about his battles with depression, borderline personality disorder, and Crohn's disease in the past.
00:54He went on to say in the post,
00:56I just want you guys to know, no matter how hard the internet or anyone tries to make me kill myself, I won't.
01:01Davidson concluded the message,
01:03I'm upset I even have to say this. To all those holding me down and seeing this for what it is, I see you and I love you.
01:09The actor's emotional note comes nearly two months after he and Ariana Grande called off their engagement.
01:14The pop star in the comic had been engaged since June and quickly moved into a Manhattan apartment together.
01:19Their engagement came as a surprise to fans as the couple had only been dating for a few weeks.
01:23They first met in 2016 on the set of SNL when Grande appeared on the show as a host and musical guest.
