00:00Billy Eilish unfollows everyone on Instagram, 6ix9ine slams rappers following trolls going
00:08number one. Plus, would you watch rappers box professionally?
00:12Hey guys, Devante for Hollywood Life with your music roundup starting with Miley Cyrus because
00:20she spoke to Variety about her life in the past year and revealed why she decided to stay sober.
00:26Miley said, quote, I've been sober sober for the past six months. At the beginning it was just about
00:32this vocal surgery, but I had been thinking a lot about my mother. She continued, quote, I did a lot
00:37of family history which has a lot of addiction and mental health challenges. So just going through
00:42that and asking why am I the way I am? By understanding the past, we understand the
00:47present and the future much more clearly. I think therapy is great. And now let's switch gears to 6ix9ine
00:53because as promised, he's still talking about his number one single and slamming other artists
00:59who haven't achieved that milestone yet in their own careers.
01:02Let's start at the top. Future, you've been rapping for over a decade. If not over a decade,
01:06close to a decade. You have many Drake features, my friend, and you never went number one. Mr.
01:13Meek Mill since 2011, close to a decade. You never went number one either. The little boys,
01:19but you know, the little guys in the game. Little Dirk, pretty local. You never went number one, sir.
01:25Gee, Herbo, I don't think you entered the top 100. I could be wrong, but I don't know.
01:30Gucci Mane? Nope, never been number one either, sir. Trippie Red,
01:37we signed to the same level. Never went number one. Every New York rapper that's a male that's not old,
01:43you never been number one. And speaking of artists competing, it seems like an official rapper boxing league
01:49is in the works. The Blast reports Sean Kingston is teaming up with hip-hop agent
01:53Triple The Mogul to start a professional boxing league for rappers. According to the site,
01:58there are already a number of rappers who are willing to join, one of which goes by the name of
02:02Soulja Boy. So this might be Jake Paul's chance to finally fight him. The site also reveals Sean and
02:09Triple have personally invested $10 million each and have raised nearly $50 million in total for the
02:15PRBL so far. Their plan is to get the boxing matches up and running before the NBA season in July.
02:22But okay, let's switch back to the pop stars like Ariana Grande. Yesterday marked the primary in New York,
02:27Virginia, and Kentucky, and in an effort to show her support, Ariana Grande sent food and coffee trucks
02:33for everyone waiting in line to vote. Ari announced this in a tweet that said in part, quote,
02:38Please pull up, enjoy, and use your voice today. We need you.
02:41To Billie Eilish now, yesterday the singer took to her IG stories with a message that read, quote,
02:46If I'm following your abuser, DM me and I will unfollow them. I will support you. However,
02:52shortly after posting that, she deleted it and then unfollowed everyone on IG. Now at the time of this
02:58recording, her profile still says that she's following one person, but when you click it,
03:04no one shows up. But alright guys, make sure you hit that sub, like, and bell button,
03:07and stick with us for all the latest.
