00:06The content they promote is often promoting trans children in TV shows.
00:13So people on the right are not a fan of Netflix.
00:15Do you think there's anything they could do beyond just hiring MAGA types to win over Donald Trump?
00:22No.
00:23I think this is DOA with Trump.
00:25Now, their game plan may be, and I think Warner Brothers is kind of warm to this, is that we can win in court.
00:33That Netflix, when you look at the panoply, and Rich Greenfield is kind of the noted and very good media analyst, has pointed this out.
00:44Netflix is not even up there, right?
00:46So most people are not gettingâthere's no way that they can corner the market in programming.
00:52That's their view.
00:53The Trump administration looks at it differently.
00:55They're like, you know, that's apples and oranges, comparing YouTube to Netflix.
00:59If you look at the streaming business as a business, it is literally a business of itself.
01:05And that business, what you're doing with Netflix and WBD, which is HBO Max, is layering number one streamer with number three.
01:13And that's horizontal.
01:15And those are usually illegal mergers.
01:17People don't likeâyou know, if you're a strictâyou know, listen, people have sued on vertical mergers where they're not the same companies, right?
01:25Where it's like this.
01:26That's what Trump did with AT&T, Time Warner, and lost ultimately in court.
01:31But if it's vertical, those are more problematic.
