00:00We're going to start Friday night. Big games this weekend, championship weekend, 109-110 on the rotation.
00:06That's UNLV and Boise State. UNLV traveling up to Boise State at 8 p.m. on Friday.
00:11This line, Joe, we saw the opening numbers around three.
00:14I'm now seeing four and a halves and fives creeping into the marketplace in a total of 59 and a half.
00:20The line is running towards Boise State. Why is that? What's that spread line?
00:24Yeah, you know, it's the only conference championship that we have that is actually a rematch, right?
00:32And it's interesting here, Donnie, because there were a reason, well, it looks like he is ready to go.
00:39And that means the market, well, they're ready to back Boise State, it looks like here, Donnie,
00:43because you nailed it minus one and a half on the open.
00:46We talked about it on Monday and now we're up to four and a half and the money is still coming in on Boise State.
00:54But is that enough? Just having your quarterback, is that enough here?
00:59I don't know. Coach Mullen and company and UNLV get more than a field goal.
01:04Feels like this one could be a fun game, but I would have to now take the points, Donnie, instead of lay them.
01:11Smelling a college football playoff, that won't be Boise State this year.
01:14They made it last year with Ashton Jinty and the crew before getting down by Penn State.
01:18But how about this game, Joe? Troy and James Madison also on a Friday night.
01:22Opening line under three touchdowns. Line today over three touchdowns, as many as 23 and a half in the marketplace.
01:29The total listed at 47 and a half today. What's the spread line for Troy and JMU?
01:35Well, I'm sure the Sunbelt Conference officials would have much rather a more competitive championship game
01:42than the one the market is telling us we're going to get here.
01:45But you go from Signetti at JMU, right, to Chesney, who now took the job as the UCLA new head coach.
01:54But he will have, you know, he will stay there, certainly through this game,
01:59and if they do happen to make the college football playoff.
02:03But listen, I mean, the Dukes, they have been bulldozing people all year long.
02:09Troy, nice story. It was kind of a down year for him.
02:12But when you have a 21-point favorite at the Open, Donnie, and now we're up to 23 and a half, maybe even 24,
02:20that tells you how competitive this game is going to be.
02:24And listen, JMU, it's not like they have a habit or a history, Donnie,
02:29under these last two head coaches of not showing up when the games matter the most.
02:34I would expect a big effort with a possible trip to the college football playoff from James Madison in this game.
02:41Friday Night Lights down on the bayou here, North Texas and Tulane, 107-108 on the rotation.
02:47This line currently sits at two and a half across the board.
02:49Not a lot of change here as a favorite towards North Texas, but a high total points are expected, Joe.
02:5466 and a half. The spread line for North Texas and Tulane is what?
02:59It's so funny because we got Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Ohio State this weekend, right?
03:05We got some great games, but there may not be a more competitive game than the one we are about to watch here
03:12with North Texas and Tulane, two teams that do it a little bit differently,
03:18two head coaches that are still there even though they took bigger and better jobs across the board here.
03:25But this is going to be a wild one. Now, I will say this. The total did get steamed up, Donnie,
03:31during the week to as much as 68 and a half before we saw the buyback.
03:36And now we're back to where we started at 66 and a half here.
03:41And listen, you know, Tulane is going to want to beat you with their legs on the ground game.
03:47They're going to want to play some defense.
03:49And North Texas is just going to want to go out there
03:52and make sure that they wear you down by the time you get to the third quarter.
03:57I expect a lot of points in this game.
03:59I do think North Texas prevails, and I wouldn't mind looking at their team total up and over as well.
04:05But this could be the sneaky, most competitive and most fun game of the weekend.
