00:07Excited ang former national fencer at congressman Richard Gomez.

00:12Hindi lang para sa SEA Games debut ng kanyang anak na si Juliana,

00:16kundi para rin sa modern pentathlon team ng kanyang pinagbumunuan.

00:25Alos isang linggo na lang bagong magbukas ang 2025 SEA Games sa Thailand,

00:29buo ang piwala ni Richard Gomez na may maihiuwing medalya ang kanyang anak na si Juliana,

00:34ang national team fencer ng Pilipinas.

00:37Two-time UAAP champion si Juliana sa University of the Philippines.

00:40Kampiyon din siya sa 2022 Thailand Open Fencing at West Java Fencing Challenge.

00:46Kaya't labis ang pagmamalaki ng aktor sa pagpasok ni Juliana sa kanyang SEA Games debut

00:50na aharap sa mga top fencers ng Timog Silangang Asia.

00:53Pero bukod sa pagsuporta sa anak,

00:55nakatoon din si Gomez sa modern-time fat ng Philippines sa kanyang pinamumunuan.

01:00Bilang presidente ng federasyon,

01:01igini-eat ni Gomez na handa na ang kanyang team na sakop ang limong sports,

01:05running, shooting, fencing, equestrian at swimming.

01:09Tatlong atleta ang nag-qualify sa fencing event pa lamang,

01:12habang si Gomez mismo ay sasalang din sa shooting event.

01:15Umaasa ang aktor na makapagbubulsa ng medalya ang bansa sa nasabing sports.

01:37We're hoping to get a good, good at least mga tatlo or apat na gold medals.

01:45That will be very good for us.

01:46Importante sa amin na maging maganda yung results namin.

01:51So we can have continued support from the Philippine Sports Commission

01:56and then tuloy-tuloy din yung support ng LGU.

02:00And that will really create and stir an interest sa mga bata na maglaro ng modern Kentucky.
